Last night at nine o'clock, Jim was tired after studying for two hours. He wanted to rest his eyes. So he looked out of the window. At that time, he saw a UFO lying over his house. He never knew anything about UFOs before. He just heard from his friends that a UFO looked like a plate. When he saw the UFO, he knew what his friends said was not true. The UFO didn't look like a plate at all. Jim was a- fraid of it. He wanted to ask for help, but his parents were both out at a party and he was alone at home. Then he saw an alien get out of the UFO. It walked through the window and straight up to him. The alien reached out its hand to touch Jim's head. Jim was too afraid to move. When he was about to cry, he heard someone say, "It's time to get up, Jim. You'll be late for school!” Jim opened his eyes and saw his mother. Oh! It was just a dream.

Have you ever heard of crop circles They are beautiful pictures appearing in the fields. They appeared in old stories of South Africa and China. In about 1890,some police- men and farmers saw some crop circles. Around 1980,they often appeared in southern England. By the late 1980s, re- ports of crop circles were coming in from all over the world. In 1990, more than a thousand circles were repor- ted.
Some people believe that crop circles are made by aliens. They think the pictures are always very huge and hard to finish in a short time. However, some people think they are made by humans. Crop circles often appear near the roads and places of interest, so they can interest more tourists.
