some 和 any 的用法：
some表示"一些、某个",主要用于肯定句。有时也用于表示请求、建议或邀请的疑问句,表示说话者希望得到肯定回答。作为限定词,修饰可数名词单数、复数,不可数名词。
例句：
There is some milk in the glass.
玻璃杯里有一些牛奶。
There are some ties on the chair.
椅子上有一些领带。
小试牛刀：
She won a competition in ______ newspaper or other.
她在某报举办的竞赛中获了奖。
Can you give me ______ water 你能不能给我一些水？
any表示“一些、任一”,主要用于否定句、一般疑问句、条件句。有时也用于肯定句。作为限定词，修饰可数名词单数、复数，不可数名词。
例句：
There aren’t any plates on the dressing table. 梳妆台上没有盘子。
There isn’t any tea in the cup. 杯子里没有茶了。

这棵树上结苹果了吗

Take ______ book you like.
介词短语：
介词与它的宾语构成介词短语。名词、代词或相当于名词的其他词类可作为介词宾语。
in June 在六月 in the middle of the room 在房间中间
in the kitchen 在厨房 on the shelf 在架子上
on the left 在左边 on the right 在右边
介词短语的句法功能：
作定语：
The spoons on the table are small.桌子上的勺子是小的。
小试牛刀：
These plates on the ______ are clean. 食橱上的这些盘子是干净的。
Those pens on the ______ are Emma's.
课桌上的那些钢笔是Emma的。
★介词短语作定语时,一律后置。
2）作表语:
The table is in the middle of the kitchen. 桌子在厨房的中间。

The electric cooker is on the ______ . 电灶在右边。
Those newspapers are on the ______ .那些报纸在沙发上。
★介词短语作表语时,放在连系动词之后。
3）作状语：
It is hot in July here.这里七月天气很热。（作时间状语）

天空中有一些鸟。（作地点状语）
By the way, what's your hobby
顺便问一下,你有什么爱好 （作目的状语）
Can you speak in Chinese 你可以说中文吗 （作方式状语）Because of the traffic jam, I was late for school.

There will be no living things without ______ .
没有水就没有生物。（作条件状语）
★介词短语做状语的用法最多,可以用来表示时间、地点、目的、方式、条件、原因等。
