Anger is a kind of feeling. Many things can make you angry. When your teacher gives you too much homework, when your team loses an important game, and when a friend borrows your favorite thing and then breaks it, you may get really angry.
Usually, your body will tell you when you are angry. For example, you breathe faster, your face turns red, and you may want to break something or hit someone, but sometimes, you hide your anger. For example, you may hide it in your heart. The problem is that if you do this, you may get a headache or your stomach may hurt.
In fact, it’s not good to hide your anger, and it’s normal for you to get angry sometimes. But anger must be let out in the right way, without hurting yourself or others.
When you get angry, you can talk about it with other people. It’s helpful to talk about your anger with an adult, such as your parents, a teacher, etc. When you talk about anger, those bad feelings can start to go away. Here are some other things you can do when you start to feel angry: talk to a good friend; count from 1 to 100; give someone a hug; go for a bike ride; think about good things, etc.

Embroidery(刺绣)is an important art form in Chinese culture. In the past, people embroidered on bed covers, tablecloths and dresses. Girls would embroider on sachet(香囊). The most famous embroidery styles are Su embroidery from Suzhou, Shu embroidery from Sichuan, Xiang embroidery from Hunan, and Yue embroidery from Guangdong.
Among them, Shu embroidery is the oldest. People sold it to other countries through the South Silk Road. It is known for its smooth needlework(针线活)and beautiful colors. Up till present today, Shu embroidery has formed its own style: smooth and bright. This art form is also deeply influenced by the geographical environment, customs and cultures. Shu embroidery shows the creativity of the Sichuan people for its beautiful designs and great needlework.
Embroidery takes time and patience. It might take as long as a whole day to finish just 10cm of embroidery. By the 1970s, Sichuan had as many as 5,000 embroiderers. But since modern machines can make cheaper embroidery products today, fewer people buy hand-made Shu embroidery products. There are also very few young embroiderers, so the skill is in danger of dying out. To protect the skill, Shu embroidery was added to China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List(非物质文化遗产名录)in 2006.

There is no doubt that protecting the environment is still worth people’s attention in the new century. Being teenagers, we are supposed to play an active role in improving the environment we live.
Two years ago, my parents asked me to join a summer camp to improve my living ability. I spent my days doing different things there. One day, our leading teacher invited us to a park. I thought it would be a relaxing journey, but when we got there, I was disappointed about everything I saw: So many plastic bags and bottles. Then the teacher asked us to pick up all the rubbish on the ground in groups. To be honest, I was very unhappy for what I did because it was boring and tiring. But when the park finally got cleaned, I got a strong feeling of satisfaction. The experience makes me sense the importance of protecting the environment and the responsibility for calling up more people to take part in the activity.
I believe everybody is able to do something tiny but meaningful to make the world better.
