Unit 4 We love animals
第2课时 Let’s learn & Let’s chant
教学内容
Let’s learn 学生听、说、认读五个动物单词“pig, bear, cat, duck, dog”。学生了解这五个动物单词的书写形式。
Let’s chant 学生通过朗读歌谣，对动物单词音和义进行巩固操练，并初步感知一些形容词的意义。学生利用读音规则拼读新单词。
教学目标
（一）语言知识目标
1. 学生能够听、说、认读五个动物单词“pig, bear, cat, duck, dog”。
（二）思维能力目标
1. 学生能够了解这五个动物单词的书写形式，并利用读音规则拼读新单词。
（三）学习能力目标
1. 学生通过互动活动，学会与他人合作学习的能力。
2. 通过不同的学习任务，学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句，培养“说英语”的能力。
（四）文化品格目标
1. 利用不同的语境，增强文化素养和与他人交往的能力。

(用图片引出动物dog，同时，展示新词汇的书写，发音，音标等，可以模仿该动物的动作或叫声)

T: Look! It’s a pig. It’s pink.
(用图片引出动物pig，同时，展示新词汇的书写，发音，音标等，可以模仿该动物的动作或叫声)
3）bear
T: Look! It’s a bear. It’s brown.
(用图片引出动物bear，同时，展示新词汇的书写，发音，音标等，可以模仿该动物的动作或叫声)
4）duck
T: Look! It’s a duck.
(用图片引出动物duck，同时，展示新词汇的书写，发音，音标等，可以模仿该动物的动作或叫声)
5）cat
T: Look! It’s a cat.
(用图片引出动物cat，同时，展示新词汇的书写，发音，音标等，可以模仿该动物的动作或叫声)
(用动物世界的话题，展开今天的课堂，在展示新词汇时，结合图片，单词书写，音标等，还可以与学生互动，进行动物模仿等，让课堂变得轻松有趣)

(这个环节，可以让学生把新句型进行操练，进一步加深印象，在句型的操练过程中，把动物的词汇再次进行呈现)

T: Let’s play a shadow game. We will use our fingers to make some animal shadow.
T: And you need to guess what animal is it
T: Ready Let’s go.

S1: It’s a pig.
T: That’s right.

T: Look at this shadow, what is this
S2: It’s a bear.
T: Nice. Give me five.

T: How about this shadow, what is this

(学生看影子图片，猜猜是哪种动物，学生在猜的过程中，要及时地给予肯定与积极反馈)

Let’s talk
T: Here are five cute animals, let’s talk about them.
cat
T: What’s this
Ss: It’s a cat.
T: Look at the cat. It is fat. (老师可以用手势比划一下胖的感觉)
pig
T: What’s this
Ss: It’s a pig.
T: Look at the pig. It is big. (老师用手做一个大圈的样子，并一边说big, big)
dog
T: What’s this
Ss: It’s a dog.
T: Look, it’s a dog. And it is a log.
T: The dog is on the log. (老师可以用手指一下图片中log的位置，让学生理解这个词)
duck
T: What’s this
Ss: It’s a duck.
T: Yes. And this is a truck. The duck is in the truck. (老师用手指一下truck的位置)
bear
T: What’s this
Ss: It’s a bear.
T: And what’s this
Ss: It’s a pear.
T: Where is the bear It’s on the bear. Oops! (老师可以夸张的表示疼痛的感觉，并说oops)
(先对chant的材料进行提前认识，学生可以在这个过程中，了解大概的内容，单词及句型，为接下来的chant做铺垫)

(学生观看视频材料，一边跟着读，一边跟着模仿)
3)Let’s chant
T: Look at the picture, let’s chant along with the tape.
(看图片，并跟着录音材料一起chant)
