课 标 要 求 用适当的形容词描述人物之间的对比，并对理想的朋友有了一定的标准，本课时对前面所学内容进行总结运用，同学们能够写出令自己满意的文章。

Task 1. 复习上节课的内容和表达方式，为本节课写作做好词汇铺垫。 Step 1　Revision 1．Let some students retell the passages in 2b. 2．Show some groups of pictures and have students compare each group of pictures using the comparatives of adjectives and adverbs.
Task2.通过一篇典型例题的讲解，用思维导图的形式，让学生了解如何谋篇构局来完成一篇短文的写作。 Task3以小组讨论的形式让学生比较自己的好朋友与自己的异同，为写作准备素材；在学生的谋篇布局写作中发观存在的问题，并及时给予针对性的指导。 操作要求描述人物外貌；完成反义词的匹配；评价标准Activity1.正确回答出问题得5分； Activiry2.每正确说出一对反义词得2分； Activity3.对1a反义词连线，每正确连对一处得2分 目标一 评价总结此活动共计23分，我获得（ ）分 分值23~20（Best） 分值19~16（Better) 分值≤16（come on）
【设计意图】复习上节课的单词和表达方式，为本节课写作做好词汇铺垫。 Step 2　Work on 3a 1．Show the pictures and the chart in 3a on the screen. 2．Tell students to look at the chart carefully and compare the two girls. 3．Have students compare the two girls in groups and tell which things are the same and which things are different. 4．Remind students to connect things that are different with the word “but”，and connect the things that are the same with the word “and”． 5．Ask some students to share their answers with their classmates and correct the answers together. 【设计意图】写作前学习描述人物的词汇，为写作打好基础。 Step 3　Guidance on writing methods 典型例题： 亲爱的同学，在你的初中生活中，总会交到几个真心的朋友。请你以“My Best Friend and I”为题，根据以下要求与提示，用英语写一篇短文，介绍你最好的朋友。 ◆◆思路分析 1.体裁：记叙文 2.话题：人物描写 3.时态：主要涉及一般现在时和一般过去时 4.人称：第一人称和第三人称 5.段落布局： 引出要介绍的人物:My best friend is Jeff. 　与朋友结识的过程was a new student，felt lonely，English was very poor helped me learn…，made much progress，became friends 　与朋友的异同We are both…Jeff is…than me；I'm…than…I'm good at… 表达感情I hope… ◆◆范文欣赏 My Best Friend and I My best friend is Jeff.When I was a new student two years ago，I felt very lonely.My English was very poor.Jeff often helped me learn English.With his help，I made much progress in English.And we became friends. Work on 3c 1．Get students to write two paragraphs describing their friends，according to the notes they made in 3b. 2．Let students work in groups to correct the two paragraphs. 3．Get some students to read the paragraphs in class.Let other students give some advice and comments on their paragraphs. 【设计意图】以小组讨论的形式让学生比较自己的好朋友与自己的异同，为写作准备素材；在学生的谋篇布局写作中发观存在的问题，并及时给予针对性的指导。 Step 5　Practice(Work on 4) 1．Let students read the ad carefully.Have students work in pairs and guide each student to support their chosen candidates in a debate about who should get the job. 2．Have the winners work together and the losers work together to repeat the process. 3．In the debate，the students should be guided to use comparative sentences in making their arguments. 【设计意图】小组活动可以调动学生的积极性，并且让学生相互交流，练习口语表达，加深对彼此的了解。 Step 6　Self Check Work on 1 1．Look at the chart.Let one student read the words in the box first. 2．Tell students to put the words in the correct columns in the chart.Make sure they know they should put some adjectives in the first column. 3．Ask students to work by themselves and then check the answers with them. Work on 2 1．Tell students to fill in the blanks using the correct forms of the words in brackets. 2．Pay attention to the context and the word “than”． 3．Students work by themselves and fill in the blanks. 4．Check the answers with the class. Work on 3 1．Have a writing test.Students think of their best friends.Write down two ways in which they are similar，and two ways in which they are different.Make sure to use comparatives. 2．Students write the sentences quickly and see who writes best. 3．Encourage some students to work harder.
