Helen Keller was a very famous writer. She was born in America in 1880. She was smart when she was young. When she was six months old, she could say a few words. When she was two years old, she was badly ill, and could not see, hear or talk. At the age of six, she had a teacher and learned to read with her fingers. When she grew up, she became a famous writer and wrote a famous book— The Story of My Life. She died in 1968.
