教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语3 基础模块》中Unit 5 Natural Wonders in the World的Warming up和Listening and Speaking部分，语料是一名外国记者对珠峰大本营的工作人员采访咨询，内容是关于喜马拉雅自然景观的介绍。要求学生能根据问题和选项预测听力内容，在听的过程中提取具体信息，能以记者的身份询问问题，并以受访者的身份回应并对景观进行介绍，在对话中体现应有的职业素养和职场礼仪，培养思维差异感知能力，提升职业素养。
学情分析 学生已经具备一定的听说基础，能够在特定的情景下围绕某主题进行英文交流。但由于知识面有限，学生对景观采访的主题和内容不够熟悉，在进行景观采访的听力和口语练习时理解和表达有困难，需要教师及时补充背景知识，尤其是图片等视觉信息，辅助学生进行理解。
学习目标 1. inquire and answer the information about natural wonders. 2. interview as a reporter, ask the interviewee further questions and his attitude. 3. find out the relationship between the taste of the visitors and character of the natural wonders. 4. know the preparation and the good manners for an interview，learn about the serious attitude and courtesy from the staff and show their own professional quality. 5. treasure and protect the nature.

Step 1: Lead in Brief introduction of natural wonders. T: Do you like seeing natural beauties Let’s watch a video about the most impressive natural wonders in the world. (1)Chaka Salt Lake茶卡盐湖: It is located in Qinghai province, China.It is called the “Mirror of the Sky”（天空之境）in China. (2)Stone Forest石林: It is located in Yunnan province, China.“Karst landscape” is the unique scenery of the Stone Forest. (3)Amazon River亚马逊河: It is located in north of South America.It’s the second longest river in the world and it’s famous for the tropical forests(热带雨林). (4)Great Rift Valley东非大裂谷: It is located in the east of Africa.It is 6000 kilometers long and people call it “The Scar of the Earth”(地球表面的伤痕) (5)Iguassu Falls伊瓜苏瀑布: It is located between the boundary of Brazil and Argentina.It’s the widest（最宽） fall in the world and one of the five most famous falls in the world. (6)Himalayas喜马拉雅山脉: It is located in the south of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau（青藏高原）.The Himalayan mountain system is the planet's highest,and home to the world's highest peaks (7)Yellowstone National Park黄石国家公园:It is located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming（怀俄明洲）The park is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features(地热特征). 2. Step 2: Warming up Look and match. T: Please match the pictures and names of the scenic spots. T: Now please read after me the names of these scenic spots: Stone Forest, Amazon River,Himalayas, Chaka Salt Lake, Great Rift Valley, Iguassu Falls. Think and tick. T: Tick out the sentences introducing a natural wonder. Give reasons for your judgment. Observe the pictures and match. Read after the teacher. Step 3: Listening Pre-listening (1)T: What do you know about Himalayas S: It is the world’s highest mountain.“Qiyun” is the unique scenery in the Himalayas. New words learning. C: advice D: mountain climb Listen and decide. T: Students first read the options and make a preliminary judgment. Then listen to the tape and grasp the key words, focus on "Qiyun" and "weather", judge the options and correct the wrong information. Listen and complete. T: Students first read through the report and make clear the logic: self-introduction - interview background - introduction to scenic spots - attractive wonders - influence of scenic spots - provoke interest. Scenery: The white cloud over the mountain is like the “tablecloth”. Tale: The cloud was formed from a contest between the Devil and a local pirate a long time ago. The cloud of smoke they left became Table Mountain’s tablecloth Listen, read and underline. T: Listen to the tape and underline sentences about information asking. Watch and answer. Scenery: five main peaks form the shape of a large flower Importance: one of the five famous mountains in China T: Students use the following sentence patterns to make up a new dialogue based on “Ha Long Bay and Mount Hua” Role play. T: Read the information about the Puerto Princesa Underground River and practice speaking with partners. Make use of the key words listed and make up a dialogue.
