一、Important phrases:

二、Key Language Points:
1.---What's your favorite subject 你最喜欢的科目是什么
--My favorite subject is science. 我最喜欢的科目是数科学
favorite ①adj.意为最喜爱的: His favorite fruit is apples.他最爱的水果是苹果。
②n.意为最喜爱的人或事，复数为favorites:
Be careful with the toy car, it's my favorite.当心这辆玩具车，它是我的最爱。
Fish and meat are his favorites. 鱼和肉是他最爱的食物。
2....Why does he like P.E. 他为什么喜欢体育
---Because it's fun. 因为它很有趣。
口语Why not =sure.意为“好啊!为什么不呢 ”是对对方建议的肯定答复用来提建议:
Why not do sth =Why don't you do sth 何不做某事
(2)此处 fun 为adj.意为“有趣的”=funny
fun 通常用作不可数名词，意为“乐趣，好玩的事”
What fun!多么好玩啊! Have fun.玩得开心
3. --Who's your P.E. teacher 谁是你的体育老师 ---Mr.Hu.胡老师
当疑问词是主语时，用陈述语序: Who likes swimming 谁喜欢游泳
Who sings better 谁唱得较好
当疑问词为非主语时，由特殊疑问词加一般疑问句构成:
Where is my schoolbag 我的书包在哪里
Why do you like math 你为什么英语
How much is this jacket 这件夹克衫多少钱
4.---How's your day 你今天过的如何 ---It's OK.还行
类似表达还有: How are you How are you doing How's everything
How's it going What's up

用于表达完全赞同对方的观点 sure=of course=certainly
★be sure of sth./to do sth确信某事，确保去做某事
6.I like Monday because I have P.E. and history.我喜欢周一因为有体育课和历史课
because+句子，because of+n.\ving\pron.:
I'm late for school because it is raining.=I'm late for school because of the rain.
因为下雨我上学迟到了
★because(因为)与so(所以)不能同时出现在句子中，翻译成中文时要译出来。
7.The teacher says it is useful, but I think it is difficult.老师说它很有用,但我认为它很难
think+句子注意其否定形式:I don't think it's difficult.√
I think it isn't difficult.x
★强调句句型:It is +adj for sb to do sth 做某事对某人来说怎么样 it 为形式主语，无意思，真正的主语是to do sth
It's useful (for us) to study math.学数学(对我们来说)很有用。
8. I want to meet you on Friday afternoon, but I'm really busy.
我想在周五下午跟你见面，但我周五非常忙。
busy常用短语:be busy with sth / be busy doing sth
busy oneself with sth\busy oneself in doing sth
I'm busy with my classes.=I'm busy having my classes.我忙着上课
9. After that, I have an art lesson for two hours.在那之后，我上两个小时的美术课
after意为“在..以后”，后可接名词，动名词及句子:
I go to bed after a shower.=I go to bed after taking a shower.=I go to bed after I take a shower.
我洗澡后上床睡觉。
* after class下课后，after school放学后
for+一段时间,表示某事持续多长时间，对此提问用“how long”
---How long do you read English every day 你每天读多久英语
---For one hour. 一个小时
My classes finish at 1:50.我的课于下午1点50结束。
finish“完成”，其反义词为start /begin“开始”
用法: finish sth./ finish doing sth完成做某事:
She finishes her homework.= She finishes doing her homework.
(2)时间的表达:
①整点在数字后加o'clock,也可不加:在5点---at five o'clock / at five
②其他时间的表达有顺读法和逆读法两种方式:
顺读法:“几时+几分”,如7:15---seven fifteen,11:20---eleven twenty
逆读法:分钟不超过30的，用“几分+past(过)+几时”如:8:10---ten past eight(8点过 10分)
分钟超过 30 的，用“几分+to(缺)+几时”如:4:50---ten to five(5点差10分)
分为60减去后的分钟数，时为加1后的小时
11.Is that OK with you 那对你来说合适吗
be OK with 对...合适,可以
The time is OK with me.这个时间我没问题。 Everything is OK with my pen.我的笔没问题
