The Mid-Autuwn Festival falls оn the 15th day of the 8th lunar month when the moon is the fullest and brightest of the whole year. Моon cakes, as indispensable (不可或缺) delicious food of the festival, are chosen as gifts sent to relatives and friends. People usually renuite with their family and appreciate the beauty of the moon together. Legend has it that Chang'e, a beautiful Lady, drank the magic pills making human immortal and flew to the moon.
