What: 这是一封Yu Mei 写给Jenny的信，介绍了Yu忙碌的周五校园生活。Yu Mei 按照时间顺序对自己的课程和活动进行了介绍，并使用了不同的形容词表达了自己对各门学科的看法。信的最后用三个问题收尾，表达了自己对Jenny校园生活的好奇。

How: 这个语篇用了第一人称，以对话的口吻展开，语言通俗易懂。文章脉络框架清晰：开头即为主题句，主体部分作者用了不同的句式结构陈述自己一天的课程和活动，表达自己的观点，以三个问句结尾。

本课授课对象为初一学生，通过本课的阅读，学生在既往课程中已经对表达自己喜欢的科目及原因的句式有了一定的了解和掌握，通过本次书信的阅读，加深学生对于之前学过的句式的掌握和运用，可以为后面的写作做好铺垫。
