一、学习目标

【教材分析】
本模块的教材内容是围绕“城镇周围”这一话题而层层展开的一系列教学活动。Unit2 的主题是“The London Eye is on your right.”这一单元包含了两大板块的内容，即Reading and vocabulary 和Writing。了解伦敦的著名建筑， 通过读、写训练，培养学生看地图的能力，读懂指路的指示语并训练笔头表达能力；
【学情分析】
知识基础：学生在第一单元已经学过一些方位词，但对于结合地图来运用方位介词和介词短语进行场所描述的方式还陌生，尤其是国外景区并不熟悉，是造成学生阅读的一大障碍，突破点是要让学生读懂建筑物准确的方位信息，并能在地图上标出确切位置，在阅读文章时，加强对学生阅读策略的培养，指导学生合理运用略读、跳读、精读等多种阅读策略。
生活经验：问路指路的相关话题非常贴近生活，七年级的学生对此话题很感兴趣。
学习方式：结合学生已有的知识储备进行激活，采用两两合作和小组合作等方式灵活组织教学。

通过本课时教学，让学生能够：
1. 借助图片和音标所设置的语境认读并运用下列词汇：tour, square, middle famous, painting, from,
metre, above, river, clear, bridge, railway, past, church, finish;及文中出现的伦敦著名景点建筑；
2. 通过阅读策略多层阅读课文，获取文章主旨大意和细节信息并描述旅游路线；
3. 通过对英国伦敦著名景点建筑学习后的讨论，扩大视野，增强对自己家乡和祖国的热爱之情。二、评价任务（可针对目标分别设计一对一、一对多、多对一等）
任务一：目标1的评价任务：在阅读中识读生词、准确读出地名并和图片搭配SB A.1。
任务二：目标2的评价任务：略读后回答Who may(可能) write this passage ；逐段精读完成一系列问题（问题链）
任务三：目标3的评价任务：讨论并根据文中地图复述课文,并讨论你最喜欢的地方。
