问句:Where are you from
答语:I’m from+地点.
讲解:where 意为“哪里”,用于询问地点。
问句中的主语是第二人称you,所以be动词用are。

如何表达自己新来到某个地方
句型:I’m new to +地点(the city, the school…).
讲解:new to … 意为“新来到……”
拓展:表达他人新来到某个地方的句型
主语+is/are new to+地点.

表示欢迎某人来到某地
句型:Welcome (to)+ 地点.
讲解:当“地点”是here、home等地点副词时,介词to 要省略
