Angelo Merendino is a photographer. He is a man I haven't met, but I've shared his works again and again. Here I want to share some of his works.
True art moves us. It takes us on a journey. And I have not come across such an exciting journey as Angelo's. He took a lot of photos of his wife, Jennifer, during her fight with cancer. Even though she lost the fight finally, she left us with some of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen.

Do you play with your hair, chew your fingernails (指甲) or tap your foot As a young boy I always played with my hair. Sometimes I played with it so much that it fell out. Doing that is called fidgeting (心不在焉地摆弄).
That's where these devices (设备), called fidget spinners, come in handy. They are tiny pieces of plastic or metal with a ball in the middle that can spin (转动) around in your hand.
Children with autism (自闭症) or children who have trouble concentrating have been using fidget spinners for a long time. The idea is that children quickly spin it, instead of doing something else that will waste time, when they can't concentrate.
But now it seems that every student “has to have” a fidget spinner. They are suddenly so popular that they have become a problem, not a solution. Some schools in the US have even banned them. They are now toys that distract (使分心) students, not something to help them focus.
Kate Ellison is a headmaster at Washington Elementary School in Illinois, the US. She says the devices are having “the opposite effect of what they advertise”. “Kids are trading them or spinning them instead of writing,” she told the Chicago Tribune.
