学生能够听、说、读、写有关爱好的单词及词组：singing, dancing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu。
学生能够正确掌握询问他人爱好的句型：What are your hobbies I like…
学生能够了解并掌握现在分词的基本变化规律。
【能力目标】
学生能够正确运用上述单词及词组描述自己或他人的兴趣爱好。
学生能够在情境中正确运用句型：What are your hobbies I like...谈论兴趣爱好。
学生能够归纳总结现在分词的基本变化规律，并能在对话中正确运用。
【情感目标】
学生能够通过了解他人的兴趣爱好结交更多的朋友。
二、教学重难点

学生能够听、说、读、写有关爱好的单词及词组：singing, dancing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu。并能正确运用上述单词和词组描述自己或他人的兴趣爱好。

四、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Greetings.
Review.
Teacher shows the pictures. Students say the words(phrases).
(dance, sing English songs, read a book, play football, do kung fu）
Step 2. Presentation
Introduce the five clubs.
T: Today, we’ll have a class meeting. The topic is hobby.
There are five clubs in our school. They are the dancing club, the singing club, the football club, the reading club and the kung fu club. They want some new members. Do you want to join in these clubs
2. Guess.
T: Who is he Ss: He is Zhang Peng.
T: Guess! Which club will Zhang Peng join Ss:…
T: Zhang Peng is talking with Peter. Let’s have a look. What are Zhang Peng’s hobbies
Learn: reading stories, singing, doing kung fu.
Students watch the flash and answer the question.
T: What are Zhang Peng’s hobbies
Ss: He likes reading stories, singing and doing kung fu.
Teacher shows the word cards and teaches the words(phrases)
(reading stories, singing, doing kung fu)
Learn: dancing.
Teacher shows the picture of dancing.
T: What are my hobbies Ss: You like dancing.
Learn: playing football.
Teacher shows the picture of football.
T: What are his hobbies Ss: He likes playing football.
Students read the dialogue and the words(phrases) after the tape.
Step 3. Practice
Look and say
Students say the words(phrases) according to the pictures.
What’s missing
T: There are many words(phrases) in the apple tree. Can you say out the words(phrases) as quickly as you can
Role play.
Students read the dialogue in roles.
4. Make a new dialogue.
S1: Hey, ____. What are your hobbies
S2: I like ____. I also like____. How about you What are your hobbies
S1: I like ____. I also like ____.
Step 4. Production
Do a survey.
Interview your classmates and then give a report.

Two students like dancing. One student likes singing.
2. Sum-up Time.
Students and teacher summarize the basic changing rules of present participles.
动词情况 词尾变化 例词
一般动词 直接加-ing play-playing玩 sing-singing唱歌
以不发音字母e结尾的动词 去e加-ing dance-dancing跳舞 make-making制作
以重读闭音节结尾且末尾 只有一个辅音字母的动词 双写末尾辅音 字母，再加-ing run-running跑 swim-swimming游泳
以ie结尾的动词 变ie为y， 再加-ing lie-lying躺，撒谎 tie-tying系，捆绑
Step 5. Homework
1. Listen and read “A Let’s learn”.
2. Copy the words(phrases) and the dialogue 2 times.
3. Talk about hobbies with your parents and your friends.
