Talk about who's in the story and what they are doing. Ss:Sam and Bobby, they are finding the ball. Watch the cartoon and talk about the main idea about the story. T:Let’s read together and know more in details. Picture1: Sam and Bobby are playing table tennis happily. You’re really good at table tennis, Sam. Picture 2: Billy and Willy cheer for them loudly. Sam is too excited and he hits the ball hard. Then, they cannot find the ball. Picture 3: Finally, Sam and Bobby find a hole in the ground. Picture 4: Sam has an idea. He brings some water quickly and pours it into the hole. T: Is the ball in the hole Ss: Yes! I can see it. But it’s too deep. I can’t reach it. T:Who is clever Why Ss: Sam. Because he brings some water quickly and pours it into the hole, then he finds so many balls. 3 Listen and repeat the story. Imitate Sam and Bobby. Talk about something else they can say. 4. Retell the story together. 5. Work in groups. Students can choose to act out or retell the story. T:Look at these pictures and match them. First,let’s read it together. (1)Read after the tape.
