Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Read the learning objectives. Task 1. Before writing:(针对目标一) Revision: Watch and say. Show a short video about a musical cartoon SING. After watching the video, show some sentence to describe the content of this cartoon and invite some students to put them into one sentence by using Attributive Clauses. ①.SING is a musical cartoon. ②.The cartoon is produced by Illumination Entertainment. (SING is a musical cartoon which is produced by Illumination Entertainment.) 3.Brainstorming Ask three questions and students think about relevant words and expressions. Q1: What kind of music do you know Q2: How do you feel when listening to music (Play different kinds of music) Q3: Why do you like this kind of music 4.Guessing Game Students write a brief introduction about their favorite music without mentioning the name of the music. Then the teacher will invite some students to share their favorite music and let other students to guess. Task 2. While writing:(针对目标二) 5.Order and analysis the text. Students look an article about one’s favorite music which is disordered. Then the teacher will ask students to work in pair to put them in order. After that, the teacher will guide students to analysis the structure of this text. The teacher will also guide students to pay attention to words in red color. 6.Outlining Students write down their ideas (just key words) according the form in the textbook. 7.Students put the ideas they have just written down into sentences and in order. (The teacher will show some expressions to help students.) 8.Drafting Students write their own composition, and the teacher will walk around to offer help. Task 3. Post writing:(针对目标三) Editing 9.Self-editing: Students go through their writing to correct mistakes in spelling and grammar a short time; 10.Peer-editing: Students exchange their passage with each other and correct mistakes in spelling and grammar; 11..Display and Evaluation The teacher invite some students to share their passage to the whole class and guide other students to evaluate these passages, then the teacher will make a conclusion. Read aloud.
