（三）单词辨析：
（1）look、watch、 see
1. 词义：look “看”，侧重指看的行为；
see “看见”，通常指看的客观结果；
watch则侧重于“观看、观察”之意。
例如：I looked carefully but saw nothing. 我认真地看，但什么也没看见。
If you look carefully, you will see the star. 你要是仔细看，你就能看见这颗星星了。
We sat and watched the sunset. 我们坐下来看日落。
2. 是否及物：
look不及物动词的用法比较多见，即look后需接宾语时要先加上at, for, after等介词。see和watch及物动词用法比较常见。
He is looking for his wallet. 他在找钱包。
Did you see what happened 你看到发生什么了吗？
Tom watched him with great interest. Tom饶有兴趣地打量着他。
3. 习惯用法：
see强调看的结果，表示“看见”，如看见某人；
look强调看的动作，表示“看”，通常加介词at，如看图片、黑板等；
watch强调看的过程，表示“观看”，通常指看电视、电影、比赛和节目等。
It is good to see you again. 再见到你真好。
Can I have a look at your new guitar 我可以看一眼你的新吉他吗？
I like watching football games on TV. 我喜欢在电视上看足球比赛。
（2）take
take用于交际语境，意为“买”。
Woman: Two dollars for one pair and three dollars for two pairs.
Mary: Great! I'll take two pairs.
此外，take作动词用，还意为“带、拿、取（走）”。
take sb./sth. to...把某人/某物带到（给）……
take sb./sth. with sb. 随某人带上某人/某物
take sb. sth. 给某人带某物
短语：take a look看一看； take a shower淋浴； take notice注意；
take a seat就坐； take a photo/picture拍照
take away拿开……；把……移开
Cam took a pen from my desk. Cam从我的书桌上拿走了一支钢笔。
take作动词用，乘坐（某种交通工具）
Let's take a taxi to the shopping mall.我们打车去商场吧。
take常见短语：
take down 取下，拿下；记下 take off 脱下，脱去；（飞机）起飞 take away 带走
（3）need
need作实义动词时，意为“需要”，不用于进行时。
I need a drink.我需要喝一杯。
need to do sth. 需要做某事
She needed to go out for a walk.她需要出去散散步。
need作名词时，意为“需要、需求”，
搭配：a/the need for sth./to do sth.对于某事物/做某事的需求；
be in need of需要（帮助、建议、金钱等）
(be) in need 处于困境
（4）buy /sell/sale
buy买，购买，是及物动词，其反义词为sell卖。
buy sb. sth.= buy sth. for sb. 给某人买某物
She bought Eric a nice picture.= She bought a nice picture for Eric. 她给Eric买了一张漂亮的画。
sell卖，出售 sell sb. sth.= sell sth. to sb. 卖给某人某物
sell sth. for + 价格，以……价格出售某物
Tony sold his car for $700. Tony以700美元出售了他的汽车。
Her last book sells well. 她的上一本书十分畅销。
sale特价销售，出售，是名词。
for sale待售； on sale特价销售； have a sale大减价
These gloves were on sale for only $9.这些手套削价出售，只卖9美元。
（四）服装类名词
难点、易错点：
语法
（一）基数词
（二）how much问句(what is the price of...)
1. how much意为“多少（钱）”，通常用来对不可数名词的量以及物品的价格提问。
-How much is this jacket
-It's thirty-one dollars.
-How much are those yellow socks
-They are two dollars.
注意：在how much询问价格的句型中，“单/复数名词”指的是中心词的单复数，在a pair of shoes中，中心词是pair而不是shoes；these shoes中，中心词为shoes。
2. how much对价格提问时还可用同义问句 “What's the price of… ”来替换。此时需注意，无论被询问的物品是单数还是复数，系动词均用is。用“It's +价格.”作答。
-What's the price of the tape player
-It's twenty-five dollars.
-What's the price of these potatoes
-It's nineteen yuan.
（三）How many/how much
一、对数量进行提问
how many后接可数名词复数。
例如：How many flowers are there in the vase 花瓶里有多少支花儿？
how much后接不可数名词。
例如：How much water is there in the bottle 瓶子里有多少水？
对价格、重量、数字运算结果以及程度进行提问---how much“多少”。
例如：
-How much does the pig weigh -这头猪多重？
-Eighty kilos. -八十公斤。
How much is your new computer 你的新电脑多少钱？
-How much is 3 plus 3？ -三加三是多少？
-Six. -六。
（四）可数名词与不可数名词的单位词
不可数名词和部分可数名词前通常用“单位词+of”来表示数量。
1. 表示个数的单位词：piece等。例如：
a piece of bread 一片面包 a piece of furniture 一件家具
2. 表示形状的单位词：bar、loaf、slice等。例如：
a bar of chocolate 一块巧克力 a loaf of bread 一条面包
a slice of meat 一片肉
3. 表示容积的单位词：bottle、bowl、glass、cup、packet、bag等。例如：
a bottle of water 一瓶水 a bowl of rice 一碗大米
a glass of beer 一杯啤酒 a cup of tea 一杯茶
a packet of sweets 一包糖果 a bag of clothes 一包衣服
4. 表示重量的单位词：kilo、ton等。例如：
a kilo of salt 一公斤盐 a ton of cotton 一吨棉花
5. 表示成双、成组、成群的单位词：pair、group、flock等。例如：
a pair of shoes 一双鞋 a group of people 一群人
a flock of birds 一群鸟
注意：此处单位词为可数名词，当数量发生变化时，单位词的数也需发生变化，且其后谓语动词在数上与单位词保持一致。例如：
Here is a pair of shoes for you. 这是给你的一双鞋。
