教材（语篇）分析： 本节课是本单元的第一课时，在整个单元中起着话题导入的作用。使用情态动词can表达“能力”，符合初一学生乐于表现自我、主动了解他人的个性；易于激发学生运用简单的英语进行交流积极性。 首先通过图文将学生带入“俱乐部招募以及学生加入”的情境中，并在语境中输入“谈论能力介绍级选择俱乐部”的重点词汇和核心句型，并在此基础上以听力训练的形式拓展巩固本单元的重点句型。
学情分析： 自然情况 在以前的学习中，学生已经学习了一些行为动作的表达法。 （二）已有基础 语言感知能力比较强，学生学习英语的积极性比较高。
（三）存在问题
学生在学习上部分出现了分化现象，有的学生英语语言基础薄弱，语言拓展的运用能力较差，而且学习过程缺乏耐性。 （四）解决措施 作为老师要鼓励学生积极学习，激发学生的学习兴趣，同时辅以灵活多样的教学设计和丰富的活动设计，鼓励学生深入语言实践，渗透学法指导并引导学生逐步养成良好的学习习惯。
教学目标： 通过本课学习，学生能够： 学生能学会重点单词，短语及目标语言（学习理解） 重点单词及短语：play the guitar ,sing ,swim , dance ,chess , play chess , draw , speak , speak English , join , club . 目标语言：Can you ... What club do you want to join 学生能基本听懂含有本课重点词汇和目标语言的听力材料，并在听的过程中学会抓关键词，做到有目的地获取有效信息。 （应用实践） 在听的过程中体验并感知目标语言的内容，学会提取所需要的关键信息。 （迁移创新）
教学重难点 重点：表示能力的动词和短语，询问和谈论彼此的能力和特长。 难点： can的用法和句式结构。

Ss complete the questions and answers using past future tense. 活动意图说明： 使自主学习与合作学习相结合，注重任务设置层层递进，由简到难，逐步突破重难点。最后学以致用，把本课学习的中重点内容融入任务中，使学生在完成任务的同时全面复习巩固本课重点知识。 环节五：Activity 5 教的活动5 Listening 1b Listen and number the conversation . Tell your group members the clubs you want to join . Fill in the chart and then choose one student to make a report . 学的活动： Discussion 活动意图说明： 创设语境，让学生感知、模仿所学目标语言，培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力，鼓励学生大胆开口，养成良好的语言表达习惯。

分层作业设计 基础巩固： Finish the practice . 设计意图：熟记本课重点单词和短语。 能力提升： Interview your group members about what their parents can or can’t do . 设计意图：在语境中填写单词，提高学生对目标语言的运用能力。
教学反思与改进 反思自己的整个教学过程，有值得肯定之处：比如课件的制作精良；课型定位准确；任务的设置由浅入深；整个任务链的设计均以学生的兴趣为主，符合学生思维规律。本节课利用教学图片、幻灯片、制作课件等来展示课堂教学。利用Pair work问答式的交际活动或小组活动，开展“询问和谈论能力”的课堂教学和练习。学生通过谈论自己某一方面所具备的才能，初步掌握了情态动词can的基本用法；通过互相询问或谈论自己或对方加入俱乐部的意愿，培养了学生的一种群体意识。课堂任务侧重培养了学生的语言实践能力，避免了死记硬背。
