教材分析 What:本课时是关于老师为学校英语会招募学生展开的一段对话。对话中老师询问Bill, Cindy, Frank 擅长的才艺,其中Bill擅长弹吉他,Cindy擅长唱歌和弹架子鼓,而Frank擅长弹钢琴。 Why:本段对话能够让学生认识到各种西方乐器的表达,有利于提高学生的文化素养。同时为学生学习情态动词can的各种句型的表达提供了语境,有利于学生提高听说能力,并灵活运用含有情态动词can的各种句型进行对话。 How:整段对话中都呈现了含情态动词 can的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句以及特殊疑问句。还包含有and和but连接的并列句。
教学目标 1. 语言能力:围绕谈论自己和他人的能力的情境,正确使用含有情态动词can的各种句型结构。能够通过听前预测,从对话中捕捉细节信息,在听中抓关键词,促进听说能力的提升,听后进行模仿和角色扮演,提升听说能力。 2. 文化意识:通过学习乐器的各种表达,学生能够了解中西方乐器的不同,提高文化素养,提升跨文化交际能力。 3. 思维品质:在看视频时进行相应的思考,提高观察与辨析的能力;在对比play在球类和乐器使用上的差别,提高思辨能力。 4. 学习能力:通过谈论自己和他人的能力,保持学习英语的兴趣,通过听力技能训练形成良好学习习惯,有意识训练自己的英语思维 。
教学重与 难点 教学重点: (1)教授四个乐器的表达。 (2)教授定冠词the的用法 (3)通过听前预测,听中抓关键词来教授学生掌握听力材料中的重点信息 2. 教学难点: 让学生灵活运用含有情态动词can的各种句型进行对话

Steps Teacher Activity Student Activity Purpose
Lead in (3’)
Step 1 T greets students. Then T invites to Ss watch a video . And then T asks two questions: Q1: What musical instruments (乐器) do you know Q2: What musical instruments can you play Ss watch a video and then think about questions and then actively answer them. Video can arose students’ scheme and create an active classroom atmosphere.
效果评价 学生是否能专注的观看视频,是否能对认真地回答问题。
Pre-listening (7’)
Step 2 T asks Ss to guess the instruments by the sounds and read the expressions about these four instruments . Ss guess the instruments by the sounds and read the expressions. Guess the instruments by the sounds can stimulate students' interest in learning English.
Step 3 T ask Ss to finish 1a and 1b. After that, T plays a game with Ss to practice the following conversation: A: Can you play the_____ B: Yes,I can./No, I can’t Ss finish 1a and 1b and play a game to practice the conversation. 1a and 1b can strengthen Ss’s learning of four expression which can reduce the difficulty of listening.
Step 4 T asks Ss “Where do we use ‘play’ ” and then leads Ss to pay attention to “the”. After that, T teaches Ss the usage of definite article (the). Ss think about where do they use play and learn the the usage of definite article (the)under the help of T. It can help Ss learn the usage of definite article (the)under the help of T.
效果评价 学生在听录音猜测乐器时,是否表现专注;学生在学习the的用法时,是否能进行认真的思考和对比,并记忆用法;学生是否能准确无误的完成练习。
While-listening (15’)
Step 5 T asks Ss to predict by the picture and answer the questions. What's the relationship between them Sisters and brothers Teachers and students Friends What are they talking about Ss predict by the picture and answer the questions. Predict the listening content according to the pictures, can help Ss understand the listening topic, grasp the key information, and cultivate the students' ability to predict.
Step 6 T plays the recording in 2a for the first time to ask Ss to finish 2a. T plays the recording for the second time to ask Ss to complete 2b. After that. T invites some Ss to show their answers. Ss listen to the record two times, finish 2a for the first time and finish 2a for the second time. And then Ss share and discuss their answers. It can help Ss improve their ability of listening and speaking. Discussing and sharing answers can improve Ss’ ability of criticizing.
Step 7 T play the conversation in 2a, asks Ss to try their best to imitate the tone and pronunciation. And then T shows the transcript in PPT. Ss listen to the conversation , imitate the tone and pronunciation. It can help Ss further improve their ability of speaking.

Post-listening (10’)
Step 8 T asks Ss to do a role play by using the transcript in 1d. Ss do a role play. It can help students improve their ability of listening and speaking and enhance students' participation in activities and English learning enthusiasm

Exercise (5’)
Step 9 T asks Ss to finish the exercises on ppt. Ss finish the exercises on ppt. Practice in time can help test students' knowledge of this class.

Conclusion (3’)
Step 10 T gives a mind map about what are learned today. Ss recall the learned knowledge of today. Mind map and summary of new knowledge can help students further understand and remember them.
