学习 目标 1. 语言能力:能够听懂、会读、会说日常用语”How do I get to …?”问路句型及“You can take …” “Go along…”等指路句型; 2. 学习能力:能了解并掌握更多问路和指路的相关表达; 3. 思维能力:培养学生运用英语的表达能力,并能够熟练运用所学句型、日常用语进行问路和指路; 4. 文化意识:培养对他人的礼貌和尊重,以建立良好的人际关系;理解并尊重不同文化中对于问路和指路的表达和沟通方式。
教学 重难点 1.学习完本课时,引导学生用问路及指路句型交流并汇报; 2.学生能理解并掌握How do I get to… 及回答Go along … Turn left/ right …Get on/ off … You can see …on your left/ right.
学情 分析 本课的授课对象是五年级的学生,有了第1课时Story time的学习基础,学生能很自然地过渡到本课时的学习。Grammar time板块考察学生通过主题情境,在语言交流中掌握问路和指路的基本表达方式,鼓励他们在真实的语境中灵活运用语言;Fun time板块是问答活动,通过配图对话的形式呈现。学生两人一组,一人选择图中的地点问路,另一人根据地图上的地点给出合适的路线。通过真实的情景交际,引导学生用单元语言知识去交流。因此在教学时,教师可采用直观手段,让学生们在直观、具体的过程中学习语言、运用语言。

Part 2 : Presentation.学习本节课重点单词与句型。 Step II: Presentation 1.Find something in common T:How does Yang Ling ask the way S:How do I …? 2.Asking the way (After reviewing the story time) T:So if you are new, how can you ask the way S:How do I get to the… (*Grammar: get+there/here/home…) T:Good! Do you know other expressions about asking the way S:Where is+地点 …… (*Pay attention: Please use the phrase of “Excuse me” before asking the way.) 3.Showing the way T:If someone asks the way, how can you help him/her S:Go along this street. …… (*Grammar: ①teach imperative sentence; ②at+small places) (*Pay attention: Don’t forget say “thank you” after someone helps you.) T:Do you know other expressions about showing the way S:…… Grammar time板块提出语法问题,解决语法问题,巩固语法用法,让学生带着问题完成本板块的学习,更有针对性的完成学习目标。
Part 3: Practice。练习本课目标句型。 Step III:Practice 1.Ask and answer T:Look at the city map, can you tell me what’s in it S:library, hospital, cinema… T:Good job! There are three crossings in it, too. This is the first crossing and that is the second crossing. (Review the grammars of asking the way and showing the way; lead in the new words: supermarket) 3.Work in groups and make a dialogue T:Sharon is new here. She wants to get to the supermarket. How can she get there Can you help her S1:Excuse me, How do I get to the supermarket S2:Go along Mango Street. Turn left at the first traffic lights. Then, go along Apple Street. It’s on your right. (……) 出示地图,复习主要地点名词;根据下面的问答及前面所学习的问路和指路的相关句型表达,让学生和同桌进行对话活动,练习和对话。创设情境,让学生之间多次操练相关句型。
Part 4: Summary。总结本节课学习内容。 Step Ⅳ:Summary 1.T:How to ask the way S:…… 2.T:How to show the way S:…… 通过提问的方式总结本节课句型。
