Today, I'd like to talk about an important day-Earth Day.
Earth Day began in 1970. Nowadays,many people like teachers and students go to
Earth Day in different cities across China. Since 10, Earth Day has become famous all over
the world. More than 175 countries have an Earth Day. Lots of people do different things.
Last year, people in my town planted 3,000 new trees. And lots of people picked up the
rubbish in the park. Also, some people cleaned up the river.
All in all, I think Earth Day is important. Next year, I hope you will do something on

My mother is the greatest mother in the world. She is of medium height. Her eyes are
very pretty especially when she smiles. Mom is very outgoing and caring. That’s why she
has a large circle of friends.
Mom loves me very much. However, I did things to make her unhappy and now I feel
regretful. I used to like playing computer games. Mom told me that overplaying was bad for
eyes and it got in the way of study. But I didn’t listen to her. When she fell asleep, I would
keep playing it until midnight. As a result, I got bad eyesight and my grades got really bad.
Looking back to those time, I felt regretful for not listening to mom.
Mom always expects me to be an honest and able person. She tells me to study hard and
learn from people who are better than me. Mom knows best and for me she only wants the
best.
