My favourite festival is the Spring Festival. It is very important in China.
A few days before the Spring Festival, we clean our house and sweep away bad luck. My grandfather makes big red lanterns. On the evening before the Spring Festival, we have a big family dinner. We eat lots of traditional food, such as jiaozi. We usually watch a special programme on TV. On the first day of the Spring Festival, my parents and I visit my uncle and aunts. We wear new sweaters and coats. I always get a hongbao. It means lucky money. Everyone is very happy on that day.
