Teaching Objectives
At the end of this part, students will be able to:
master more words related to color;
Talk about the color of different things;
Apply what they have mastered into practice, perform the dialogue they made by themselves;
Open their vision to know more about the culture of colors.
Teaching processes
Step I. Warm-up&lead-in
Watch a video .Then Teacher asks students to speak out the colors by listening to a beautiful song. And learn the song and sing the song.(设计意图:通过播放有关颜色的歌曲,让学生们辨认颜色。用歌曲的形式,把本课时重点描述颜色的句子展示出来,通过歌曲来激发学生强烈的兴趣。在一片惊呼声中,顺利引入今天的话题——颜色。)
Step II. Presentation
Self-studying Students learn new words by themselves. And finish 1a.(设计意图:在教授新知之前,先让学生自主学习,勾画难点。培养其自主学习能力。)
Learn new words and key language.
Teacher asks “What colors do you know ” Students should say “I know...” Teacher teaches new words and key language. Then ask students to do the quick response.(设计意图:通过问题形式,引导学生说出所看到及听到的颜色,从而达到对新单词color, red, yellow, green, blue,black, white, purple, brown的教学。)
Step III. Play a Game
Color Game. Teacher asks students to speak out the colors are shown on the screen.(设计意图:在快速反应环节中,学生能快速检测自己对于新单词的掌握情况。此环节比拼单词熟练度和反应力,氛围很激烈,学生们很喜欢,进一步帮学生巩固色彩词汇。)
Listening practice
Teacher asks students to do the listening practice of 1b.
Check the answers.
3. Pair work&Group work 1c
Teacher asks students to talk about the color of their own things with their partner or in their group. Then make their own conversations.(设计意图:此环节让学生们开始真正用词,开始造句,去自创情境,去接地气的谈论自己所属物品的颜色。同时,学生可以根据自己的实际英语水平选择展示形式。学生也可以选择小组展示,团队协作,共同创设情境,进行口语展示,从而实现对本课时内容的输出。)
Step IV. Summary
在教授学生一句和彩虹有关鼓励人心的名言:No matter how long the rain lasts, there will be a rainbow in the end. No matter how sad you may be, believe that happiness is waiting.)
Review the colors &the sentence patterns.

Step VI. Assignments
Ending Teacher asks students to watch some famous teachers’ videos from the internet to learn more information about this lesson.
Teacher asks students to draw a picture about what your life is by using some plants with colors from our nature.(设计意图:观看其他学校优秀教师的在线上课堂,实现乡村学校学生也能够受到名师课堂教学。进一步打开学生的视眼,扩充学科知识内容,有助于分层教学。再设计让学生寻找我们自然界中带有颜色的植物进行自主绘画,实现以学生为主体,融合新课标人与自然和谐共生的要求,让学生从教室到大自然去观察发现大自然的美,并更加热爱自然,更加懂得人与自然和谐共生的道理。)
