Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake
我讲课内容是新人教版英语八年级上册Unit 8 Section B 2a-2e，课题是How do you make a banana milk shake .现在我将会从教材分析，教学目标分析，学生学情分析，教法设计，教学过程，等几个方面来阐述我对这节课的理解和设计。
一、教材分析
教材充分体现“以人为本”的科学发展观，即面向全体又关注并体现学生的个体差异。教材内容的安排符合学生的认知水平，联系学生的生活实际，注意激发学生的学习兴趣，促进学生综合平衡发展。重视语言学习策略的培养，帮助学生提高英语学习效率。教材让学生通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作第方式感悟、发现并总结语言规律，有效学习语言知识，培养语言学习的策略和能力。Unit8主要是了解西方的传统节日，体验中西方饮食文化的差异，激发对中国传统文化的热爱珍惜与家人团聚的时光，以及食物的制作过程。
本节课是unit 8section B第二课时的内容，其中心话题围绕食物制作和感恩节这个题材开展多种教学活动。Section B主要是语言的学习、巩固和运用阶段。这节课是以阅读为核心整体设计的。2a是阅读前的预热活动，2b-2c是读中理解活动。2b让学生快速阅读文章并理解其大意，2e是对阅读文章的拓展，让学生读后关注语言的使用。2a-2e的活动设计体现了阅读前、阅读中和阅读后的完整阅读教学过程。话题贴近学生日常生活，容易激起学生学习兴趣。
二.教学目标
1.Master the key words ,phrases and sentences
Words: Thanksgiving, traditional, autumn, celebrate, mix, pepper, fill, oven, plate, cover, gravy
Phrases :give thanks for sth, mix together, fill…with, put…in, place…on, cover…with, cut…into pieces
Sentences：
① In most countries, people usually eat traditional food on special holidays.
② It is a time to give thanks for food in the autumn.
③ Master the use of First…,next…,then…,finally…
2.Learn to look through the title and the pictures quickly to know the topic of passages.
3.Learn to know the festival of western countries and China, respect the differences between them, carry on traditional Chinese culture, and learn to thank someone around us.
三、学情分析
学生们已经八年级了，他们有一定的英语单词和句子基础，他们好奇，活跃，喜欢竞争，喜欢在轻松的气氛中通过小组活动进行学习，具备基本的自主学习能力基础。
四、学法和教法

五、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and lead in
1.Show some pictures about special holidays and let Ss discuss what kind of food do people eat on special holiday.
设计意图:通过多媒体展示的图片能吸引学生的注意力，激起学习兴趣活跃课堂气氛，使学生以轻松、愉快的心情上课导入感恩节。
Step 2 Pr-reading
Activity 1 What a radio about Thanksgiving.
Activity Look through the title and the pictures from page 61 and guess the topic of the passage.
设计意图：通过多媒体展示的视频能吸引学生的注意力，使学生初步对感恩节的由来等进行了解，通过标题及图片信息使学生对文章大意进行推测。

设计意图：通过速读、略读、跳读使学生对感恩节进行全面了解，锻炼学生的思维能力，使学生在合作中体验学习的快乐。
Step 4 After-reading
Activity 1 Can you fill in the blanks
Activity 2 Can you retell how to make turkey
Activity 3 Look at the mind maps and retell the passage
Activity 4 Do you know other special holidays according the paper in your hands
Activity 5 What do you think is the most special day in China Answer the following questions.
①Communicate with group-mates .

设计意图：挖空学习短语并记忆，并对文本进行复述整体把握文章，使学生对中西方节日的更多认识，体验中西方饮食文化的差异，激发对中国传统文化的热爱珍惜与家人团聚的时光，以及食物的制作过程。拓宽学生的知识面，同时通过复述，增强学生的语言表达能。

设计意图:对已知感恩节认识的输出，并借助学习感恩节，教育学生时刻怀有一颗感恩的心。
Step 6 Homework
①Write a letter to someone who you really want to thank.
②Choose one food and describe the process of making it.
设计意图:对已知感恩节认识的输出，并借助下周学习感恩节给家人表达感谢。
六、教学反思
评价不及时
给学生展示的机会比较少，应给学生更多的机会展示，对时间把握不够好。
