【学习内容】
内容组合：人教版新目标英语GO FOR IT 7A Unit 8。
统领主题：日期。

【学习目标】
1.能正确诵读文本，掌握单词、短语并运用句型进行对话。

【核心任务】
本单元的主要话题是谈论人的出生日期，主要学习序数词的构成以及运用序数词表示日期的方法，when引导的特殊疑问句询问日期以及名词所有格的构成和使用。Section A 为口语练习课，主要学习日期的询问与表达，通过谈论自己、同学以及家人的生日，理解生日更多的意义。Section B 主要是复习 “日期的询问与问答”，学会谈论自己、同学以及父母家人的生日，并学会自己安排时间。本单元的听说、对话活动和写作贴近学生的生活，容易激发学生的学习兴趣，使他们乐于其中。
【课时安排】
本单元学习共5课时。第一、二课时完成段落一“学习理解”之“感知注意”“获取梳理”。第三、四课时完成段落二“应用实践”之“内化运用”“深入文本”。第五课时完成段落三“迁移创新”“积累应用”。
第 一 课 时

一、先行学习
课前用20分钟完成下列任务。
任务1:Self－study the new words：when，month，January，February，March，April，May，June，July，August，September，October，November，December，first，second，third.
Learn to pronounce them according to the phonetic symbols.You can listen to the tapes to help you pronounce them correctly or ask others for help.
任务2:

〖课堂导入〗
1.情景导入：
Teacher：There are twelve months in a year. Do you know the name of each month？If you don't know them，please don't be worried. I'll show you. Please read the months in English after me.
2. 小组内同学交流先学单任务中的问题，得出结论。
3. Words teaching：Ask a few students to read the new words and help them correct the mistakes in pronunciation if necessary. The students who do well in pronunciation will teach the new words as little teachers.
4. 通过多媒体图片学习1a中的单词，学生领读1a中的单词，然后听录音纠正自己的错误读音，两人一组互相背诵提问1a中的单词。(5分钟)
5. Check the answers to the exercises in Part 1a and above.
通过回顾以前的知识，引导学生唤起旧知，从而学习新知。
〖小组合学〗
一、通过小组交流、展示评析，学生能：
1.记住和理解本课生词，能用when引导的特殊疑问句询问生日并作出回答

2.Read the conversation in Part 2d , then role-play the conversation in 2d with your partner .
二、Listening
1．认真阅读1b中的小对话，为听力做好铺垫。
2．听录音，按听到的顺序为对话编号，师生共同核对答案。
3．大声朗读1c中的对话，并在一分钟内背诵下来，然后小组内合作，练习这个对话，并请几个学生背诵对话。
4．仿照1b中的对话，和同伴编练新的对话，并邀请几组学生表演对话。

2．小结训练。

根据汉语提示完成单词。

6．以小组为单位，利用“When is your birthday？”和“How old are you？”句型来询问其他同学的生日和年龄，然后根据从大到小的顺序进行排序。

思考：基数词变序数词的变化规则
小组合作讨论，归纳总结：
基变序，有规律，1 2 3特殊记，词尾字母st、nd、rd。th从四加起，怎么加，真好记。8去t来9去e，遇到ve要用f替，整十变y为ie，加上th莫迟疑。若想表示几十几，只变个位就可以。
〖练习运用〗
独立完成下题，然后在小组内交流，进行互动评析。
