Greeting Enjoy and free talk. Introduce the topic.讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) Get students to say somethings they have know about April Fool’s Day in date,origin and activity. Simply introduce this festive in English. Ask students to read the words and expressions in the form of and translate them into Chinese. Get students to look at the the box and try to explain the concept of none,verb and adjective. Simply explain the part of speech and get students to put these words in their groups. Check the answers together and read these words again. 分组活动(Group work) Get students to share their story in April Fool’s Day with their partners by using the given simple on the blackboard. To give 5 minutes for them to express their stories in front of the class. Have a vote for the most interesting one. 听力练习(Listening) Get students to look at the pictures on the textbook and try to answer the following questions on the blackboard. Choose several students to show their predicts. Help students to describe these pictures by using some verb phrases. Play the tapes for the first time to catch the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time to number the pictures. Check the answers together. Get students to read the phrases in 1d and translate into Chinese. Play the tapes for the third time and ask students to write the letters in front of them. Read after the tapes sentence by sentence and help students to understand some difficult words and sentences. Check the answers together. To give several statements and ask students to judge right or wrong and correct the wrong ones.
