Cultural awareness（文化意识）: Through training in listening and reading, students are taught to respect the wishes of others and understand the different physiological and psychological reactions that people have towards the same thing. When analyzing character relationships, one can find ways to unite others and use the learned sentence structures to provide reasonable suggestions.
教学重点 To learn some fixed collocations: make+sb.+do sth.;make+sb.+adj.;be so+adj.+that.
教学难点 The infinitive of the verb 'to' is omitted to discuss the impact of things on people.

讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 听力训练(Listening） Get students to look at the picture on the textbook and encourage them to describe them by using their own words. Play the tapes for the first time for get the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and get students number the pictures according to the listening material. Check the answers together. Ask students to read the incomplete statements and try to fill in the blanks they remember. Play the tapes for the third time and get students to check their answers or complete the blanks. Listen and check the answers sentence by sentence. Read after the tapes and explain the material in detail. Read again for practice oral English. 对话练习（Pair work） Get students to read the function sentences in the table and try to remember. Get students to make conversations with their partners. Ask several groups to show their works in front of the class. 角色扮演（Role play） To show some questions on the blackboard for students and help them catch the characters in the conversation. Play the tapes for students to read and find the answers. Check the answer together and help students to underline some relative sentences. Listen to the tape again and help students to finish the relationship map of the three girls. Explain the conversations sentence one by one and finish the map. To show a short passage about the dialogue and get students to fill in the blanks with the words or phrases which was given. Read and check the answers together. 小结与复习（Summary） Get students to finish some sentences with the phrases they have learned this lesson. Check the answers and explain the the usages in detail. Read them again for remember. Free talk and try to catch some information in the pictures.Finish the exercise and learn some words and expressions. Make dialogue with partners.
