Cultural awareness(文化意识): This class, together with classmates, summarized some of the world's top natural wonders and helped students express and apply them by learning how to read and write numbers. Educate students to pay attention to dictation and recording of key words in listening training. At the same time, teaching students to use quantity units correctly in oral training. While appreciating the exquisite craftsmanship of nature, educate students to respect nature and appreciate its beauty.

导入新课 Leading in Greeting each other. To show a picture on the blackboard, students look and say the word “earth”. Lead students say something they have learned about earth. Greeting Enjoy and free talk. Warming up.
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 新课呈现(Presentation) To show some pictures on the blackboard and get students to enjoy and learn the words about nature landscape. Encourage students to talk about geography and what they can learn from it. To show a short video about The most natural geography of the world. To show the picture of Qomolangma, lead students to learn its name and try to say the high of it in English. To teach the function how to say a number in English by using some exercise. To show some numbers,students try to read them correctly. Show other nature landscapes’ name and lead students to read their high,tall and deep in English. Read again for remember. Match the names and statements in 1a. 听力训练(Listening) Get students to read the incomplete statements in 1b and try to get the meanings. Help students to circle some key words and phrases in these statements to predict if there is a comparative or highest level. Play the tapes for the first time,students listen and get the main ideas with out doing any exercise. Play again,students listen and fill in the blanks. Check the answers together. Play the tapes for students to read after and check the answer.Explain some difficult words and phrases. Read again and learn some useful expressions. 对话及句式练习(Presentation & Pair work) Get students to list some nature landscapes in China and their numerical value. Ask students to make conversations with their partners by using the information.
