Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson will focus on the natural and cultural landscapes of China. Through listening training, students were helped to review the basic sentence structures of numerical expressions and comparative superlatives. At the same time, the origin, development, and inheritance of the cultural wonder of the Great Wall were discussed. Guide students to make comparisons and enhance national confidence.

讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 新课呈现(Presentation) Ask students to answer some questions about Chinese rivers. To show two short video to introduce the rivers. List some other questions about Chinese humanities,students read and try to give some answers they have learned. 听力训练(Listening) Lead students to look at the number in the box and read them in English. Get students to read the statements to get the meanings. Help students to predict the relationship between the numbers and the statements. Play the tapes for the first time for get the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and, students try to number the facts. Play the tapes for the third time and get students to fill in the blanks. Check the answers together and read the sentences. Read after the tapes and explain the listening material in detail. Check the answers together and read after the tapes to correct pronunciation. 对话练习(Pair work) Get students to list more The Most Important in China and write them on the blackboard. Get students to make conversations with their partners by using the information they have list.
