She was one of the shortest athletes.Andrey Silnov (born in 1984), is a Russian high jumper and the 2008 Olympic champion with a jump of 2.36.Maurren Higa Maggi (born in 1976) is a Brazilian athlete and Olympic gold medalist. She is the South American record holder at 100 metres hurdles and at long jump, with 12.71 seconds and 7.26 metres respectively. She is the first Brazilian woman to win an Olympic gold medal in an individual sport.Matthias Steiner (born in 1982) is an Austrian-German weightlifter. With a successful clean and jerk of 258 kg, and a total of 461 kg, Steiner became Olympic gold medalist.
