Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson introduces the cultural landscape of China and discusses the protagonist's travel experience in China. It outlines the proprietary terms related to landmark buildings and also helps students organize their travel routes from a comprehensive perspective. At the same time, important sentence patterns related to the present perfect tense were trained in listening and speaking, which improved students' listening comprehension ability.

导入新课 Leading in Greeting each other. To show some incomplete sentences and ask students to fill in the blanks. Check the answers and read the sentences. Greeting Finish some exercise. Review.
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) To show a short video about Beijing for students to enjoy and list the places they know. Show some pictures on the blackboard, students look and try to say their names. Explain them in detail and teach some new words.Read in several times for remember. Give example sentences for students to make conversations with their partners. Choose several groups show their works in front of the class. Ask students to look at the pictures on text book and match them with their names. Check the answers together and explain the writing form of place’s name. Read for remember. 听力练习(Listening) Lead students to read the statements in 1b and get the meanings. Ask students under line the structure of the Present Prefect Tense in each sentence. Play the tapes for students to listen and catch the main idea. Play the tapes again,students listen and check the questions they hear. Check the answers together. Show a name card on the blackboard, students read and get the items. Play the tapes for the third time,students listen and try to fill in the character’s information. Read after the tapes and explain some difficult words and phrases. To show a short map about character’s experiences and get students to fill in according what they listened. Check the answers together. Read after the tape for correct oral English. 对话练习(Pair Work) Get students to read the statements in 1d to catch the meanings and structures. Give some minutes for students to make their own conversations.
