讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 阅读训练（Reading） Pre-reading Lead students to enjoy a short video about rainstorm and encourage them to describe what they have seen in it or share the similar experiences. To show a map of the USA and simply introduce the natural environment of Alabama. To introduce the character of this story. While Reading Lead students to read after the tap and number the paragraphs. Get students to scan each paragraph to match the main ideas, Check the answers together and point out the structure of the passage according to the development of the rainstorm. Lead students to read the first paragraph and try to underline the words and phrases about the weather. Check the answer together. Give some incomplete sentences on the blackboard,students read the second paragraph and fill in the blanks. Explain the passage sentence by sentences and check the answers together. Read the third paragraph carefully and list the activities Ben and his family did. To show a short form for students to read the forth paragraph and catch the sense and activities. Check the answers together. Post-reading Read after the tape again for and try to finish the exercise in 4b.
