核心素养教学目标 Language ability(语言能力): ①Try to discuss the scenic spots in your city in English. ②Exercise the ability to obtain information through listening. ③The emotion of loving one's hometown. Learning ability(学习能力): ①Learn the words about city scenic spots. ②Practice listening about answer some questions. Thinking ability(思维品质): ①Understand the role of time adverbs in sentences. ②Try to improve listening ability. Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson focuses on practicing several verb phrases to help students use them to make sentences. Before listening practice, simple questions were asked about the content reflected in the pictures, teaching students to make predictions about the given information. Pay attention to key vocabulary and the reasons for the development of events in listening training, help students broaden their thinking, and introduce topics of recycling.
教学重点 To improve student’s listening ability.
教学难点 The usage of “for” and “since” in the Present Perfect Tense.

导入新课 Leading in Greeting each other. To show a short video for students to enjoy. Encourage students to talk about their hometown in English. Greeting Enjoy and free talk. Introduce the topic.
讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 讲授新课(Presentation) To show some pictures on the blackboard and ask students to say their names. Explain them in detail and teach some new words. Read them again for remember. Lead students to talk about the place with their partners by using the given sentence structures on the blackboard. Choose several students show their works in front of the class. Lead students to read the phrases in 1a and Check the places or things they can find in our town or city. 听力练习(Listening) Lead students to read the questions in 1b and try to get the meanings. Lead students predict the topic of the conversation. Play the tapes for students to listen and catch the main idea. Play the tapes again,students listen and try to answer the questions. Check the answers together. Lead students to look at the form in 1c and try to know the items in each group. Play the tapes for the third time,students listen and try to fill in the form. Read after the tapes sentence by sentence and explain the listening material in detail. Fill in the form and teach students to write the answers in their own words. To show the incomplete listening material on the blackboard.Students listening and fill in the missing words. Check the answers together and read again for remember. 对话练习(Pair Work) To show a map of our city and lead students to find the scenic spots. Get students to read the statements in 1e to catch the meanings and structures. Give some minutes for students to make their own conversations about talking about our city. Choose several groups to act out their works in front of class. 课堂小结(Summary) To show a mind map for students to review the language points we have learned this time. Read words and sentences again for remember. Learn some new words and expressions about scenic spots.Make conversations. Talk about the pictures and try to predict the story.. Listen the conversation and finish several tasks to get the main idea. Make conversation with partners. Review. Vocabulary preparation and practice. 课堂小结 本节课帮助学生掌握了一些关于城市标志性地点的词汇,并讨论这些地点存在的时间以及对你的影响,从而引导学生认识到城市的发展和变化,从而认识到事物在不断变化当中。操练了现在完成时的基本句式。
