My name is Lucas. I hope to be a farmer when I grow up. Is my father a farmer No. What about my mother No again. So why do I want to be a farmer？ Because it is really an important job. Everyone needs food ，and I want to grow the best crops.
Or maybe I will be a manager. I would run a business and lead a team. I would work hard and make the company bigger and stronger.
I might even be a teacher. It would be fun. I would be nice to all of my students. I would encourage them to be creative.
Alan is my best friend. We are in the same class. His dream is to be a doctor. His sister going to be a doctor ，too. They want to help sick people.
But our biggest goal is to be happy. Rich or poor It doesn‘t matter. So what would make us happy A job we like，a nice family and good friends would make us very happy.

3. What would Lucas do if he becomes a manager

形容词、副词的比较级和最高级的变化规律：
1. 单音节形容词或副词后面直接加-er或-est
tall—taller—tallest fast—faster—fastest
2. 以-e结尾的单音节形容词或副词直接加-r或-st
large—larger—largest nice—nicer—nicest
3. 以-y结尾的形容词或副词，改-y为-i再加-er或-est
busy—busier—busiest early—earlier—earliest
4. 形容词或副词是重读闭音节时，双写最后的辅音字母，再加-er或-est
hot—hotter—hottest big—bigger—biggest
5. 多音节形容词或副词前面直接加more或most
delicious—more delicious—most delicious

不规则变化的词需要同学们识记。

eg:

这项工作非常有用并且富有创作性。

每个人都需要食物，我想种出最好的农作物。
everyone pron. 每一个人
复合不定代词，作主语时是第三人称单数。
e.g. 每个人都在这。Everyone is here.
大家都在等你。Everyone is waiting for you.
拓展：像everyone这样的复合不定代词还有很多，如 everybody, something，anyone等
2.His dream is to be a doctor.
他的梦想是成为一名医生。
动词不定式“to be happy”在句中作 be 的表语，表示具体的动作行为。
e.g.他的目标是将来上北京大学。
His goal is to go to Beijing University in the future.
e.g. 我的工作是照顾婴儿。
My work is to look after the baby.
