Let’s try & Let’s talk)教学目标 1.能听、说、认读单词和短语:star,easy,look up,Internet;能听、说、读、写句子“There was no library in my old school.”“Tell us about your school, please.”“How do you know that ”“There were no computers or Internet in my time.”;能在实际情景中运用There be句型描述某地过去和现在的变化。(语言能力) 2.能通过描述学校的今昔变化,珍惜现在的美好生活,活在当下。 (文化意识) 3.能根据图片推测对话的关键信息,并结合语境和图片猜测词义。(思维品质) 4.能借助互联网,查询资料,自主学习英语。(学习能力)教学重点 理解并掌握本课时的重点词汇和句型。教学难点 能在实际情景中正确运用There be句型描述某地过去和现在的变化。教学过程 设计意图Step 1 Warm up&Lead in 通过创设上学的情景导入,利用提问,帮助学生复习关于学校的词汇及There be句型,为新授内容作准备。 通过设问,引导学生根据画面判断人物所在地,引出话题情景,为学习后面的对话作铺垫。Warm up 创设上学的情景,教师提问:What's in the school 学生看图片,用 There be句型回答问题。 T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today Are you happy at school Look! The two girls go to school. Let’s go with them. What’s in the school You can use the sentences “There is ...” or “There are ...” to answer. S1: There is a playground in the school. S2: There is an art room in the school. S3: ... Lead in PPT呈现单元主情景图,教师提问:Who are they Where are they What are they doing 让学生观察主情景图,回答问题。 T: Look! Who are they Ss: Miss White, Wu Binbin, his father and his grandfather. T: Great! Where are they Ss: They’re in the school. T: Right! What are they doing Can you guess S1: ... S2: ... T: Wu Binbin’s family are visiting the school. What did they say Let’s listen to the tape.Step 2 Presentation&Practice 教师引导学生在听前先预测,再听录音完成判断练习及回答问题,培养学生听力策略,同时渗透即将学习的对话的背景。 让学生仔细观察图片,描述学校的今昔对比,然后预测Wu Binbin及他爷爷的学校过去和现在的样子,培养学生的观察能力和逻辑推理能力。然后通过提问,帮助学生逐步理解并掌握对话。 利用课件展示人类首次登月的图片和信息,拓宽学生的知识面,激发学生对航天的兴趣,鼓励他们课后上网搜寻资料,自主学习。 通过输出练习,巩固本课时重点词汇和句型。Presentation(对话学习) Let’s try 1.教师引导学生读Let's try版块的题目并猜测答案。 2.教师播放Let's try版块的音频,让学生听录音,完成判断练习。 随后核对答案,教师提问:Who’s the guest 3.教师提问:What was Grandpa’s school like How did Wu Binbin’s grandfather learn in his old school 再次播放Let's try版块的音频,让学生听录音,回答问题。随后师生共同核对答案, 4. PPT呈现听力文本,教师带领学生阅读并标注解题关键句,注意解释different的意思。随后播放音频,学生听录音跟读。 Let’s talk 1.PPT出示两张不同地点、不同时代的学校的图片,教师引导学生 谈论,了解新旧学校的变迁。 T: Look at these pictures. What are they They are schools in different places and at different times. 2.PPT出示两张旧学校和两张新学校的图片,引导学生用There be 句型进行描述,最后呈现对比结果:The school changed .(a lot/a little) 学生选择短语填空,教师注意讲解a lot和a little的意 思及用法。 3.教师介绍对话背景并提问:Wu Binbin and his grandpa are at the same school at different times. What’s the school like now What was Grandpa’s school like before 请学生看图猜测。 4.教师播放Let's talk版块的视频,让学生看视频,回答问题:Were there any big buildings in Grandpa’s old school Were there any libraries or computer rooms in Grandpa’s school Was Grandpa’s school on the hill 随后核对答案。 5.PPT呈现课文对话,教师提问:What was Grandpa’s school like 让学生阅读对话,并划出解题关键句,同时可提出自己不懂的问题。随后教师讲解对话,注意对star, one day, easy, look it up, in my time的意义和用法进行解释。 6.PPT出示两张图片,教师提问:What was Grandpa’s school like 学生依据划线的句子选出正确图片。随后PPT呈现三个划线句子,教师引导学生通过对比,感悟There be句型的一般过去时用法。 7.教师组织学生再次阅读对话,回答问题:Who got to the moon in 1969 How many days did they take to get to the moon How did Wu Binbin know that 随后核对答案。 8.PPT呈现对话节选,划出解题关键句。 9.PPT展示两张人类首次登月的图片及相关信息,教师通过与学生对话渗透人类首次登月的信息:Sarah wants to visit the moon one day. What about you Do you want to visit the moon and other stars 10.利用图片解释look up on the Internet的含义,同时可布置课后作业:上网搜索人类首次登月的信息,在下一节课与全班同学分享。 11.教师播放Let's talk版块的音频,学生听录音跟读。 Practice 1.PPT呈现挖空的短文,教师请学生根据对话填空。 2.教师播放主情景部分的视频,请学生看视频填空。Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过描述学校的今昔对比,巩固本课学习的重点句型,提升学生的综合语用能力。1.Draw and talk 教师组织学生用白纸和水彩笔画一画五年前的学校和现在的学校,对比有何不同之处。先在小组内评选出“最美图画”,然后各组派一名代表上台,用“There was/were ...”和“There is/are ...”描述图画内容,选出最佳画作奖和最佳表达奖,给予奖励。 2.Group work 学生以小组为单位,课下参观校史馆或上网搜集资料,寻找并用所学句型描述学校的今昔变化。下节课在全班进行小组汇报。Step 4 Summary&Homework1.小结:师生先共同口头总结,再用PPT完整呈现。 Key words: star, easy, look up, Internet Key sentences: —There was/were ... then. —There is/are ... now. 2.作业。 1.
