Dear Peter,
I’m Li Hua, one of your students. I’m writing to render what I’ve found about students’ interest in our English Corner.
Aimed at cultivating students’ interest in English learning, your English Corner undoubtedly offers us students a great platform to enhance our English proficiency. However, I’ve found students lacking enthusiasm to get involved lately. I think it would be a good idea to showcase the unique charm of English Corner by adding more interactive activities like English Drama Performance. Additionally, why not undertake a survey to know about what really interests students?
I would appreciate it if you could make a bit of change, in which case, the English Corner will surely become one of the fondest memories rooted in our hearts.
Yours truly,
Li Hua
读后续写
Nearing the doorway, Jenny took a deep breath. When she pushed the door open and entered the house, she found her mother was not in. Tired and sad, she sank down onto the sofa.“Where could my mother be ” she wondered.“Was she still angry with me ” Again, the scene of the quarrel appeared in her mind. She remembered her rudeness to her mother. Realizing that her mother really cared a lot about her, she buried her face deeply in her hands, with tears rolling down her cheeks.
A gentle touch on her hair called her mind back. She raised her head and saw the familiar face of her mother“You are home! I'm so worried about you that I've been looking for you.” she said, tired and relieved Jenny couldn't help throwing herself into her mother's arms,“Mum, I'm so sorry and thank you for all you have done for me. It is you who bring me up and provide love and support for me.”Hearing this, her mother smiled, patting her back gently. Quarrels are not unusual between children and parents. But communication is the secret to understanding.

With over 600 castles, unique cultural traditions and dramatic coastline, it’s shocking that only a small percentage of visitors to the United Kingdom set foot in Wales. Here’s what to know for planning your trip to Wales.
Planning Your Trip
Best Time to Visit: Wales is at its best from the late spring through early summer. You can expect a fair bit of rain, but also beautiful flowers then. Wales’s mild, damp climate means that there’s only a small variation among temperatures throughout the year.
Language: English and Welsh, the latter of which has seen a resurgence (复苏) in recent years. According to a survey conducted by the Welsh government in early 2023, less than 30 percent of the population can speak Welsh. The government aims to have 1 million Welsh speakers by 2050.
Getting Around: Wales is a tiny country—you can drive from Cardiff, along the Southern coast, to Angelsey, an island in the north, in about 4.5 hours. Wales is also supported by an excellent network of cycling and rail connections.
Things to Do
Activities can include everything from visiting the many famous television and film sites to simply lying on one of Wales’s sandy beaches.
● Spend at least a day or two in Cardiff, Wales’s largest city. This university town has excellent nightlife and restaurants and is also home to the National Museum of Wales, which houses one of Europe’s best collections of Impressionist art.
● Wales is a surfing hot spot, with surfers taking to the sea in Whitesands and Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire, Oxwich Bay, and Llangennith in Gower, among others. Want to get your feet wet

Brainstorming usually means getting a group of people together to generate( new ideas. I have found a unique way of brainstorming by getting the artificial intelligence program ChatGPT to generate interesting questions and answers.
I am now working on a chapter on musical consciousness(意识) and ChatGPT has generated great questions like “What are good questions about the role of consciousness in music ” Typically, ChatGPT produces 10-20 new questions including ones that probably would not have occurred to me even with quite a lot of research. The questions generated by ChatGPT are distinct. Many of them are surprising, and some of them are highly valuable. Therefore, ChatGPT’s question generation seems to me to qualify as creative.
After ChatGPT generates a list of questions, you can get it to answer one question at a time. This process of getting ChatGPT to provide questions and answers could go on and on and on, although some repetition will turn up. The questions are always interesting, but I don’t trust the answers until I can check them out in reliable sources because ChatGPT has a bad reputation for making stuff up.
I call this new method “ChatStorming”, but it raises some difficult questions: the first is whether it is plagiarism(剽窃)to use answers provided by ChatGPT. ChatGPT has no copyright to its materials. However, it would still be intellectually dishonest to claim the writing produced by ChatGPT as your own. The second: Is ChatGPT truly capable of generating new ideas ChatGPT is skillful at producing creative questions, but how about concepts, hypotheses(假设), and methods To my astonishment, the results are definitely novel(新的) and surprising, but I don’t yet know whether they can also be valuable. It will take much testing and evaluation to determine whether ChatGPT and even better models like GPT-4 can be creative with new ideas as well as questions.
A third question is what it would take for a large language model to dominate humans. Large language models are major advances in AI that can further improve human creativity, but they are to be confirmed(证实).
32 .For what purpose did the author use ChatGPT
A .To seek some musical help. B .To improve his music taste.
C .To question its safety. D .To study its limitations.
33 .What can we learn about ChatGPT’s answers from the third paragraph

A .The author refuses to accept them.

A .It can be used as freely as possible.

C .Its creativity requires to be tested.
D .It can benefit humans a lot.

A .A technology report. B .A product introduction.
