Learning ability(学习能力): ①Can understand and complete listening exercises. ②Be able to extract the necessary information from listening materials. Thinking ability(思维品质): ①Be able to use the vocabulary learned to express how to provide assistance to others. ②Be able to communicate the feelings of participating in volunteer activities in the language you have learned. Cultural awareness(文化意识): This section aims to guide students to discuss volunteer activities, stimulate their interest, and cultivate their awareness of participating in public welfare. The task focuses on listening and speaking, while helping students train their reading skills in the small reading section. At the same time, it helps students accumulate more vocabulary for public welfare activities, thereby helping them express themselves freely.

讲授新课 Teaching the new lesson 听力训练(Listening) Get students to enjoy several videos and encourage students to describe what they are doing. To teach some phrases about volunteers by using some pictures. Read these phrases and try to remember. Lead students to look at the pictures on the textbook and try to say out the actions. Play the tapes for the first time for get the main idea. Play the tapes for the second time and get students to tick the pictures what they have heard. Check the answers together. Get students to read the incomplete sentences for get the main idea. Get students to fill in the blanks according to the listening. Play the tapes for the third time and get students to check their answers. Read after the tapes and explain the listening material in detail and teach the phrases. Read after the tapes to correct pronunciation. 对话练习(Pair work) Get students to read the function sentences in the table and try to remember. Get students to make conversations with their partners. Ask several groups to show their works in front of the class. 角色扮演(Role play) Free talk about the experience in old people’s home.
