Cultural awareness(文化意识): This lesson tells students a story about extreme sports through a real event. The protagonist's unusual experiences make students realize how to make the right decisions and face difficulties and challenges correctly in difficult situations. At the same time, education should be given to students to act within their abilities, to have a spirit of adventure, and to ensure their own safety, cultivating a positive and upward spirit.

Detail reading Get students to read the first paragraph carefully and try to find the answers to the questions on the blackboard. Explain this paragraph clearly and help students to underline the relative sentences to answer the questions. To show a simple structure of this passage.
