I want to say “thank you” to my English teacher. She is slim with a pair of glasses. She is kind and friendly. She is not only our teacher but also our friend. She helps me a lot with my English.
I became her student a year ago. I was weak in my English at that time. She talked with me how to learn English well and told me the importance of learning English. She also gave me a book about English. After class she often helped with my English and answered my questions patiently. Once I failed in an exam, she encouraged me and cheered me up. With her help. I was moved and I made great progress.
Now I can learn English well and I can also take care of myself in learning. So I should say “thank you” to my English teacher, Miss Wang.

An Unforgettable Experience
Looking back on the past three years, everyone had some unforgettable experiences. I will never forget the experience of being a volunteer for the Asian Games held in our city. Being one of the three volunteers selected from our school this term, I felt excited and proud. To make sure that I could provide the best service, I practiced in my spare time, especially my spoken English. When the day finally came, I felt a little bit nervous because I was afraid of making any mistakes. Fortunately, I performed well and was spoken highly of by the volunteer organization.
I learned that we should be confident and hard-working. It was the first time that I had been a volunteer for such an important event, which made me proud ever since.
