Step 1 Warming up and and learn new words Greeting and show some pics to learn new words
Step2. Lead in Show some real things or pics in PPT, and then communicate with Ss: T：What’s that S: It’s a watch. T: Spell it, please. S: W-A-T-C-H. （把生词都练习一遍） Guide Ss to practice the conversations and lead in new sentence: How do you spell it, please Correct the pronounce of new words. Review the last less and lead in the new class.
Step3. Work on1a-1b Work on 1a. Ss observe the pics in 1a and match with the words in the box. Work on 1b. Use PPT to show some pics about abject, Ss work in pairs to practice the conversations. 参考案例: A: What’s that B: It’s a/an… A: How do you spell it B：…
Step 4.Work on1c-1e Finish task 1c. Play the tape and let Ss circle the things they hear in 1a. Finish task in 1d. Listen again, Ss write down the things that belong to Linda or Mike, then listen to check answer. Work on 1e. Work in group to practice the conversation(Student A act as Linda, Student B acts as Mike use the things in 1d to make up new dialogues then exchange) Show the conversations and teacher give some praise. Play the tape, let Ss write down the words of the things.? Ss use the things in 1b to make up new conversations. Then group competition.
Step 5.语法提要 How do you spell it 此句意为“你怎样拼写它？”，do在句中是助动词。常用的助动词有do，does, did，have等。助动词的作用是用于帮助构成否定（与not连用）、疑问（用于句首)或加强语气。 例句: We don’t know you. 我们不认识你。 Do come here early tomorrow. 明天务必来早点。 Does your sister get to school early in the morning 你妹妹早上到校早吗？
