1. Nemo is a cute orange-and-white fish... 尼莫是一条可爱的橙白相间的鱼……
orange-and-white意为“橙白相间的”，是复合形容词，中间用连字符连接，
用来修饰后面的名词。如:
He is a ten-year-old boy now.
他现在是一个十岁的男孩。
2. ...but both of them have won the hearts of young people all over the world.
……但是他们两个已经赢得了全世界年轻人的喜欢。
win the heart of sb./win sb.’s heart意为“赢得某人的喜欢”。如:
The play won the hearts of the audience.
这部话剧赢得了观众的喜欢。

他带领一群猴子反对玉帝和他的手下。
lead v. (led, led)领导；率领。lead sb. against...表示“带领某人反对……”。
如:
He led his workmates against the cruel boss.
他带领工友们反抗残忍的老板。
4. Parents and children laugh together as the Monkey King makes a terrible
mess in heaven. 美猴王大闹天宫的时候，父母和孩子们都笑了。
as是连词，意为“当……时”。如:
I lived with my grandmother as I was a little child.

expect v. 期盼。 expect +sb./sth.期待某人或某物；expect+to do sth.期待去
做某事；expect + sb. to do sth.期望某人做某事

ever since表示“自从”，所引导的时间状语从句用一般过去时，主句用现
在完成时。

My favorite cartoon
My favorite cartoon is the cartoon film Wall · E. It’s about a robot trying to clean the earth after people have polluted it. Wall · E meets another robot called Eve. He loves her a lot. Wall · E and Eve go to meet people who now live on a very big spaceship. Many funny things happen and Wall · E is very cute, but the story is serious too.
In the end, they all return to the earth to make it beautiful and green again. I like the cartoon because it is lovely to watch, the characters are cute and funny, and it also teaches us to think more carefully about our planet and pollution.
