一、情态动词 can
1. 用法: 表示能力,意为"能,能够;会"
I can speak English. 我会说英语。
You can do it. Go on! 你能做到。加油！
He can cook a meal. He often cooks on Saturday. 他会做饭。他经常在周六做饭。
2. 句式：
（1）肯定句:主语+ can+动词原形+其他.
She can play the violin. 会拉小提琴。
I can speak English and Japanese. 我会讲英语和日语。
His mother can cook pasta. 他妈妈会做意大利面。
（2）否定句:主语+ can+ not+动词原形+其他.
You can not/can't do it alone. 你一个人做不到。
We can not/can't sing English songs. 我们不会唱英文歌。
He can not/can't remember the name of that man. 他记不起那个人的名字。
（3）一般疑问句: Can+主语+动词原形+其他
- Can you work out this maths problem 你能算出这道数学题吗
- Yes, I can. 是的,我能。 （否定形式）- No, I can't.不,我不能。
- Can Jack believe me 杰克会相信我吗
- Yes, he can. 是的,他会。 （否定形式） - No, he can't.不,他不会。
（4）特殊疑问句:疑问词+ can+主语+动词原形+其他
- What can I do for you 我能为你做些什么
- I would like a glass of ice beer, please. 给我来一杯冰啤酒。
Where can I find him 我在哪里能找到他
can 的习惯用法1. cannot … too/enough "无论怎么…也不过分", "越…越好"You cannot be too careful.你无论怎么认真都不为过。（你越认真越好。）
2. cannot help but "不得不","情不自禁地"
We cannot help but admire his courage. 我们情不自禁地佩服他的勇气。

一、用括号中所给单词的适当形式填空。
