1.it做形式主语和形式宾语
1) It+be+adj./n.(+for/of sb.)+to do sth.

4.even if引导让步状语从句

7. the reason+why引导的定语从句

10.“not only...but (also)...”意为“不但……而且……”

14.so that引导目的/结果状语从句
We should sort the garbage properly so that they can be treated easily and differently.
我们应该对垃圾进行适当的分类,这样它们就可以很容易地被区别对待。
1)so that引导目的状语从句,相当于in order that,从句中往往含有情态动词,如can、could、may、might等;
2)so that也可以引导结果状语从句,此时从句中往往没有情态动词。

17.with复合结构

with复合结构在句中作状语和定语,其结构为:
(1)with+宾语+介词短语/形容词/副词;
(2)with+宾语+doing,表示主动或进行;

(4)with+宾语+to do,表示将来的动作。
18. as引导定语从句

(1)more than+数词 超过……
more than+形容词 非常……
more than+名词 不只是;不仅是

25.完全倒装

out、 in、 into、 down、 up、 away、 here、 now、 then、 there等表示方位和时间的副词和表示地点的介词短语置于句首,且主语是名词时,句子用完全倒装;
(2)当作表语的介词短语、形容词、分词提到系动词前面时,句子要完全倒装,构成“介词短语/形容词/分词+系动词+主语”结构。

26.“介词+关系代词”引导的定语从句
Last Sunday the Labor Day was held, the purpose of which is to raise our awareness of the importance of labor.
当关系代词在定语从句中作介词的宾语时,通常用“介词+关系代词”引导定语从句。如果指“人”,用“介词+whom”;如果指“物”,用“介词+which”。
(1)one/two/several/most/each/all/both of which/whom
(2)the+名词+of which/whom

28.“it takes/took sb. some time to do sth.”意为“某人花……时间做某事”

it takes/took courage/efforts/hard work to do sth. 做某事需要勇气/努力

29.“be doing...when...”意为“正在做……这时(突然)……”
We were wondering how to carry out our plan when the answer appeared.

when意为“这时突然”时,可用于以下三种句型:
(1)be doing...when... 正在做……这时(突然)……
(2)be about to do...when...
=be on the point of doing...when... 正要做……这时(突然)……
(3)had just done...when... 刚做完……这时(突然)……
30.wish后的虚拟语气
I wish I had been self-disciplined and made full use of online learning.
我希望我能自律,充分利用网络学习。
wish后接that引导的宾语从句要用虚拟语气,从句中谓语动词的形式为:
(1)对现在的虚拟:过去式(be的过去式用were)
(2)对过去的虚拟:had+过去分词
(3)对将来的虚拟:would/could/might+动词原形
31.the first time/the moment/the minute/the instant引导时间状语从句
The first time I observed the process of water being spilt into oxygen and hydrogen, I was deeply attracted by the charm of chemistry.

32.主语+be+adj.+不定式

句型“主语+be+adj.+不定式”的特点是不定式用主动形式表示被动意
义,使用此句型须具备两个前提条件:
(1)不定式和句子的主语之间构成逻辑上的动宾关系;
(2)常用形容词有difficult、hard、easy、comfortable、pleasant、
interesting、exciting等。
33.get+过去分词
I get refreshed through climbing, spend more time with my dad, and get to meet new friends.
通过攀岩,我重新焕发了活力,花更多的时间和爸爸在一起,并开始结识新朋友。
常见的“get+过去分词”结构:
get broken 破了
get punished 受到惩罚
get hurt 受伤

34.“There is no/little doubt that ...”意为“毫无疑问……”
There is little doubt that Earth is getting warmer and warmer .
毫无疑问,地球正在不断变暖。
There is no doubt that your professional and profound knowledge of English will benefit the students greatly.
毫无疑问,你专业且渊博的英语知识将使学生受益匪浅。
35.without引导的含蓄虚拟条件句
I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you for your generous help, without which I wouldn't have made such rapid progress.
