Recently cunchao has become a hot topic in China!
Rongjiang is a small county（县）in Guizhou Province, with a population of 385,000. However, it has welcomed over 1 million tourists since the village football tournament（联赛）or cunchao in Chinese, began on May 13.
The tournament is organized by the county’s football association（协会）, with 20 teams competing. The players include farmers, small business owners, construction workers and taxi drivers. Divided into two groups, the teams compete on Fridays, Saturday s and Sundays, with the final scheduled for July 29.
The event has drawn the attention from all over the world. As I grow, there are lots of difficulties around me. Today I’d like to share my experience with you.
When I was in Grade 7, I tried out for my school basketball team. However, I failed to make the team. I thought seriously about the reason for failure and made a plan carefully. I practiced hard every day according to my plan. Besides, I also looked for some ways to improve my skills in basketball by asking my P.E. teacher for help. Day by day, I became better at playing basketball. And I tried out for my school basketball team again in Grade 8 and I succeeded.
