1. that：无意义，可省略

只能用whether的情况：前有介词，后有to do，
位于句首，后有or not

特殊用法：What’s wrong, What’s the matter 语序不变
否定前移：主句的动词为think, believe, suppose, expect, believe等时,若宾语从句表否定，应将从句的否定词转移到主句的动词中.

1. 连接词that: 无义，
在句中一般可以省略
I want to know if Yangyang has a girlfriend.
我想知道杨洋是否有女朋友.
I want to know whether Yangyang has a girlfriend.
我想知道杨洋是否有女朋友.
2. 连接词if/whether: 是否，
在句中不可省略
只用whether的情况：
I am worrying about whether I can pass the exam.
I don't know whether to visit the doctor.
Whether it's true is not known.
Please let me know whether you can come or not.
口诀：
前有介词，后有to do，位于句首，后有or not

What’s wrong /What’s the matter在宾语从句中的语序不变

1.主过从也过
当主句是一般过去时，宾语从句必须运用相应的过去时态
时态：
主过从也过，主现从不限，客观规律用一现
I know (that) Lily will come here tomorrow.
I hear (that) he went to school five minutes ago.
We know (that) she is interested in Yangyang.
2. 主现从不限
当主句是一般现在时，宾语从句的时态不作限制，可根据句意使用其他时态
The teacher told us (that) the earth moves around the sun.
老师告诉我们地球围着太阳转.
3. 客观规律用一现
当宾语从句是客观真理时，不受到主句时态的限制，
仍用一般现在时
判断对错:
1. She said that she didn't finish her homework.
2. I wonder if they go to the library last Sunday.
3. I was sorry that I break the window.
4. Tom asked if the earth moved around the sun.
5. We hope that it will not rain tomorrow.
当主句的动词为think, believe, suppose, expect, believe等时,若宾语从句表否定，应将从句的否定词转移到主句的动词中.
