资源简介 Unit 5 Helping our parentsGrammar time & Fun time教学设计单元 Unit 5 课时 第 2课时学习 目标 1. 语言能力:能在语境中复现家务劳动类的短语表达,并能熟练掌握现在进行时的语言表达;能在语境中运用 “What are/is …… doing I/He/She is ……” 介绍如何帮助他人; 2. 学习能力:学生能基于单元主题进行有序、连贯地表达如何帮助他人,提升在语境中进行语言交际的能力; 3. 思维能力:基于不同情境的创设,帮助学生在语境中体会如何在不同场景中帮助他人,培养思维的准确性和连贯性; 4. 文化意识:能通过不同场景的语言活动,发现如何有逻辑地帮助他人;帮助学生了解到不同的场合用不同的方式帮助他人。教学 重难点 1. 能初步理解现在进行时态的结构及变化规则; 2. 能正确运用句型What are you doing I’m …… What is he/she doing He/She is …… What are they doing They are ……; 3. 能运用be + doing结构进行准确的问答和表述,尤其是做到不遗漏be动词; 4. 通过“帮助父母”话题的谈论,培养作为家庭成员要承担家庭责任的意识。学情 分析 本课的授课对象是五年级的学生,Grammar time板块是一个图表,归纳呈现了现在进行时的特殊疑问句和肯定句的使用规则,同时归纳了本单元出现的动词现在分词形式及其变化规则。让学生在真实的语境中正确使用不同的时态进行表达,进而掌握现在进行时的用法;Fun time是以棋盘的形式呈现了一个问答活动,让学生用现在进行时描述图中人物的活动来完成情景交际,提升英语学习和表达的自信心。教学 工具 PPT,课文视频教学 方法 游戏教学法,任务教学法,情境创设法,问题导入法教学过程学习任务 教学活动 设计意图Part 1: Warm-up。热身。 Step I: Warm up 1.Review time T:Before the class, let’s play a game. (Break the golden eggs and say the phrases of the pictures you can see.) 2.Free talk T:Now let’s have a free talk. “Do you like doing housework ” S:Yes, I do./No, I don’t. T:Why / Why not S:……. T:Mike’s family is very busy with the housework on Saturday morning and afternoon. So what are they doing (Lead in the story we have learned last lesson. Fill in the blanks and retell the story.) 本环节以单词游戏导入,既能够激发课堂氛围,又能带领学生巩固上节课基础词汇。 通过询问学生是否喜欢做家务活及其原因引出上节课所学习的Story原文,以挖空的形式考察学生对于现在进行时的掌握程度,尤其是不要遗漏be动词。Part 2 : Presentation.学习本节课重点单词与句型。 Step II: Presentation 1.Find something in common T:Read these sentences, what can you find (1)What are they doing (2)What is Mike’s mother doing (3)What is he doing S:What是特殊疑问词,is/are是be动词,they/Mike’s mother/he是主语 (*Grammar:询问某人正在做某事的句型:What+be动词+主语+doing?) T:Read these sentences, what can you find (1)I am sweeping the floor. (2)They are watching TV. (3)He is sleeping. S:I/He/They是主语,am/is/are是be动词,sweeping/sleeping/watching是动词-ing形式. (*Grammar:回答某人正在做某事的句型:主语+Be动词+动词-ing形式.) 2.The present continuous tense (1)Review the definition and constitution of the present continuous tense. ①现在进行时表示此刻正在发生或正在进行的动作。 ②由“Be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式”构成,Be的形式与主语的人称和数保持一致。 (2)The basic sentence pattern of the present continuous tense. ①肯定句:主语+Be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式+(其他). ②否定句:主语+am not/isn’t/aren’t+动词-ing形式+(其他). ③一般疑问句:Be(Is/Are)+主语+动词-ing形式+(其他) ④特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+Be动词+主语+动词-ing形式+(其他) (3)The method of determining the present continuous tense. ①当句子中有时间副词now时,表示动作正在进行。 ②当前面有“Look!”“Listen!”等提示性语言时,暗示下一句的动作正在进行。 E.g:Mike正在做什么? 看,他正在擦桌子。 —What is Mike doing —Look! He is cleaning the table. 3.Let’s read T:Now let’s do some practice. (Present the verbs in grammar: do, clean, cook, eat, help, wash and watch, and students discuss gerund forms in small groups.) (1)一般情况下,在动词原形后直接加-ing. Expand knowledge: (2)以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,先去掉e,再加-ing。 like → liking 喜欢 live → living 居住 (3)以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母,呈现“辅元辅”结构的动词,先双写末尾辅音字母,再加-ing。 swim → swimming 喜欢 shop → shopping 购物 (4)少数以ie结尾的动词,变ie为y,再加-ing。 lie → lying 躺着;说谎 4.Enjoy a video Watch the video and let the students to review the gerund rules they just learned. Grammar time板块提出语法问题,解决语法问题,巩固语法用法,让学生带着问题完成本板块的学习,更有针对性的完成学习目标。 教师出示grammar 中的动词,do, clean, cook, eat, help, wash and watch,学生小组讨论动名词形式。教师进行总结并拓展。 通过观看视频的方式让学生再次回顾刚才所学习的动名词变化规则。Part 3: Practice。练习本课目标句型。 Step III:Practice: 1.Say the word/Phrase Show the checkerboard picture and ask students to say the word or phrase for each picture. 2.Work in groups and make dialogues T:Make up dialogues based on the words or phrases we have learned and reinforce the sentence patterns we have learned in this lesson.
