I am very proud to stand here to speak to you all today.
Now, the environment is so bad. Many rivers and lakes are polluted. So I think we should take action to protect our environment. How can we do it
Water is very important to us. I used to wash hands with the water running, but now I know I should save water. So I will turn off it when I don’t use it. Some factories poured polluted water into the rivers, and fish died because of the polluted water.
As students, we should do something to protect the environment. First, to make our earth much greener, we can plant more trees. Second, to save energy, we can reuse the water and paper, don’t use the single-use cups. If we pay attention to the environment, the earth will become more beautiful. Let’s take part in the environment protection.

Dear teachers and students,
I am very proud to stand here to speak to you all today.
Now, as far as we know, our living environment has changed its original appearance. Everything around us is getting worse and worse, such as the seriously polluted rivers and endangered wild animals.
As the saying goes, “We can’t live without water.” Everyone knows how useful the water is to our life, but not everyone knows how to save it. Take me for example, I used to wash hands with water running all the time. What’s more, I even thought saving water wasn’t as important as we said. However, nowadays when I hear of many people in poor areas can’t get water easily, some tears fill my eyes. Therefore, environmental protection is not only a slogan but also an action.
No matter how hard the work is, we should put all our effort on it. First, in order to make our earth much greener, we can plant trees as much as we can. Second, we are able to make full use of every drop of water. Third, try to use both sides of the paper, and reuse our textbooks. Perhaps someone says it’s a little difficult. I believe if we do such small things little by little, there must be a wonder.
Remember “There is only one earth”. Let’s take action and take an active part in the environmental protection now.
