本课以“志愿服务”为话题。该课时以听说训练为主，主要谈论志愿者工作，旨在呈现、学习不同援助方式的英语表述，并通过听、说练习完成词汇的学习和巩固。从编排设计上看，1a-1c活动旨在呈现、学习不同援助方式的英语表述，为词汇输入阶段；2a-2d活动通过听、说练习此前所学的词汇表述，并在听说训练过程中体会动词不定式和短语动词的用法。
学情分析
在七年级以及八上，学生已经学习了很多动词短语，比如：put up,help out,give up,run out等。学生已有动词不定式浪漫感知，如八上Unit5.Do you want to watch a game show 学习want/ hope/expect/plan to do 等动词不定式做宾语，但没有精确学习不定式其他句子功能；学生对could 的认知仅限于委婉请求，could表建议功能对学生来说是新知。对于志愿服务和志愿者，学生了解较少，教师应尽可能多地给学生提供较熟悉的素材，贴近学生的生活实际，他们就能更好的融入课堂。同时，引导学生探索、讨论关爱及援助的价值和意义，渗透人文关怀和道德概念的培养。
