One possible version
I finally got up the courage to go down there. I saw Mom looking at the purse filled with receipts in silence. I was about to say sorry to her when she interrupted me to say, “I’m sorry I embarrassed you that day. Now I have a new purse; I will not upset you like that again.” I suddenly felt so ashamed that I couldn’t even say the word “sorry”. Mom took out a new purse and started moving things from the purse to it. Noticing her sadness, I finally gathered up my courage.
“I’m really sorry,” I said, helping to put things into the new purse. “I shouldn’t have shouted at you, Mom.” While putting the receipts into the new purse, I saw that each of these little papers brought back a particular memory, filled with happiness and worth cherishing. It suddenly dawned on me why Mom valued them so much. I gave her a bear hug after finishing the work. And by the way, I started collecting receipts myself from then on and reading them now and then with Mom has become my favorite pastime.

第一步：审题和写作要求：

三、评分标准
1. 总体要求：
1. 本题总分为15分，按五个档次进行评分。评分时，主要从内容要点、语言表达两个方面考查。
2 .评分时，应先根据作答的整体情况确定其所属的档次，然后以该档次的要求来综合衡量，确定或调整档次，最后给分。
3.评分时还应注意:
（1）词数少于60和多于100的，从总分中扣2分。
（2）单词拼写和标点符号是写作规范的重要方面，评分时应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。
（3）书写较差以致影响交际的，酌情扣分。

一、试题分析：
本题原文主要讲述：母亲有个钱包里面撑满了这些年来她买东西的发票，我很讨厌这个钱包。一天我和朋友去看完电影偶遇母亲和妹妹，母亲提议请我们吃麦当劳，但是她却在电影院门口翻找钱包里的优惠券。突然钱包掉在地上，里面的发票散落一地，这让我很尴尬，一时冲动，对母亲说了狠话。母亲整个周末都没有和我说话，周一放学回家，我感觉很糟糕，鼓起勇气想跟母亲聊一聊。续写内容包括六个要点：
第一段场景：
① 看到母亲在干什么（比如沉默，伤心）； ② 母亲拿出新钱包；③ 我内心愧疚；
第二段场景：
④ 我的语言描写（我的自我检讨等）； ⑤ 我对母亲收集的发票态度的转变；⑥ 我与母亲的和解或我的成长感悟。
说明：场景肯定不是唯一的，续写情节合理、与原材料相符都可以接受。
二、评卷要求
1、本题总分为25分，按5个档次给分，每个档次5分。评分时先根据作答的具体情况初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来综合衡量、确定或调整档次，最后给分。词数少于130的，从总分中减去2分。
2、评分时，从故事内容，词汇语法和篇章结构三个方面考虑，具体为
创造内容的质量，续写的完整性以及与原文情境的融洽度。
使用词汇和语法结构的准确性，恰当性和多样性。
上下文的衔接和全文的连贯性 。
阅卷应整体评分，从主题是否明确、内容是否完整、内容和原文衔接度高不高、语言是否符合原文风格、语言使用是否正确等方面综合考虑档次。先确定档次，再具体给分。
续写内容必须符合故事主线。不符合的一律不及格（15分以下）。抄袭原文或不相干的内容达到1/3 的（连着抄，间隔着抄都算）、充满负能量或不道德的内容，均判零分。
4、阅读材料的语言：主要以第三人称叙事为主，因此续写部分的语言也应是叙事风格，不应该出现大量对话。如出现大量对话，分数降低一个档次或扣5分。
5、语法：文章时态为一般过去时。使用时态错误，扣3分。 词汇、语法错误：一般大错扣1分，如出现1个小错，从总分中减去半分。相同的错误不重复扣分。如书写较差，以至影响交际，将分数降低一个档次。
注意事项：续写部分应该以第三人称讲述故事，主要用过去时（如果人称或者时态用错，降一档）；为了与原材料的语言风格保持一致，续写部分不应该出现大量对话（如出现大量对话，降一档）。
三、评分标准
第五档（21~25分）
创造了丰富合理的内容，富有逻辑性，续写完整与原文情境融洽度高。
使用了多样并且恰当的词汇和语法结构，可能有个别小错，但完全不影响理解
有效地使用了语句间的衔接手段。全文结构清晰，意义连贯。
第四档（16~20分）
创造了比较丰富合理的内容，比较有逻辑性，续写比较完整，与原文情境融洽度高。使用了比较多样并且恰当的词汇和语法结构。可能有些许错误，但不影响理解。
比较有效地使用了语句间的衔接手段，全文结构比较清晰，意义比较连贯。
第三档（11~15分）
创造了基本合理的内容，有一定的逻辑性，续写基本完整，与原文情境相关。
使用了简单的词汇和语法结构，有一些错误或不恰当之处，但基本不影响理解。
基本有效地使用了语句间衔接手段，全文结构基本清晰，意义基本连贯。
第二档（6~10分）
内容或逻辑上有一些重大问题，续写不够完整，与原文情境有一定程度脱节。
所使用的词汇有限，语法结构单调，错误较多，影响理解。

W: There’s a place in Venezuela where lightning strikes about 200 days a year.

W: Yep. Locals call it “the Never-ending Storm of Catatumbo” because the area is near the Catatumbo River. Scientists found most of the lightning strikes between April and November. NASA named it the “Lightning Capital of the World”.
M: Why does the area get so many storms
W: The Andes Mountains are on one side of the river, and the Caribbean Sea is on the other side. Cool mountain winds move into the valley and hit warm sea air, creating the perfect conditions for lightning.
M: Are the people there afraid of getting hit
W: Surprisingly, the chances are pretty small. In the US, about one of every 12,000 people gets hit in their lifetime.

W: Dumplings are a style of food that can be found about everywhere you go. They have many names but may be the most delicious food around the world. In the most basic sense, a dumpling consists of the skin and fillings.
As is known, China is the dumpling capital of the world. Jiaozi is a Chinese dumpling.It typically consists of a ground meat and vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough. It may be divided into various types depending on how they are cooked..
Miyazawa, a Japanese cook, says,“Japanese dumplings came from China at the beginning, but Chinese dumplings are mostly boiled. However, gyoza, a pan-fried meat dumpling, is more common in Japan. It is in a half-moon shape. Its bottom is crispy while the top is softer, thanks to how it is steamed after being pan-fried.”
In my hometown, local people tend to call ravioli the Italian dumpling on account of its similar shape. However, they are actually a kind of pasta. Although they are food in the form of "dumplings", there are big differences in their fillings, cooking methods and sauces that will go with them. For instance, ravioli are in square shape and the fillings can be cheese besides meat and vegetables.
