一、教材分析
本课是新标准英语三年级起点五年级上册Module 7 Unit 1的内容，通过本单元的学习，学生能运用功能句型： This man is blind. He can’t see. Can we have a dog, Mum No, we can’t.
说明能力的不足。由于六模块已经学习了运用句型：You can play football well. 来谈论能力，本模块是在此基础上继续学习，实现知识上的递进。
二、学情分析
学生在四年级已经学习了句型：Can you run fast 本册书六模块又学习了运用句型：You can play football well. 来谈论能力，有了这些知识做铺垫，本模块谈论能力的不足就容易许多。
三、教学目标
知识与技能目标：
1、学生能够正确朗读课文。
2、学生能够听懂/会读/能说：He can’t… Can we…
3、学生能够听懂、认读单词hear her blind deaf fire hot dog show useful。
4、学生能感知“kite”中“k”与“music”中“c”的读音，“green”与“dog”中“g”的读音，“fish”中“f”与“coffee”中“ff”的读音，“visit”与“love”中“v”的读音。
能力目标：
1、学生能小组内表演课文。
2、学生能够阅读课文，获取课文中的相关信息，结合信息表达。
3、学生能够运用He can’t… Can we… 句型与他人就表达能力的话题进行交流。
4、学生能够在语言情景中尝试使用词汇：hear her blind deaf fire hot dog show useful。
情感目标：
乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。
教学重难点
（一）重点：
1. 课文对话的理解和认读。
2. 词汇hear her blind deaf fire hot dog show useful的理解和运用。
（二）难点：
能在一定情境下运用新词汇和功能句型进行交流表达。

五、教学步骤
Steps Activities Purpose
Step1 Warm up Activity1 Greetings 1.Activity 2 Good morning, boys and girls. 2.How are you Activity2 Say and do some actions. 1、通过师生问候，把学生带入到英语学习的氛围中。 2、通过活动二，在复习旧知的基础上，让学生在愉快的氛围中开始本课的学习，调动学生学习的积极性。
Step2 Lead in Activity 1 Review Ask and answer: Can you run fast/help others Can dogs help others Activity2 Listen and answer. Are the dogs useful 通过问答的方式，自然过渡到活动一的教学中，让学生在思维的碰撞中寻找学习的乐趣。
Step3 Presentation Activity 1 Look, listen and answer. 1. What are they doing 2. What’s the programme about 3. what can the dogs do Activity 2 Listen and say. Activity 3 Look and fill in the blanks. Activity 4 Read and answer: What’s for dinner 让学生带着问题听文本，训练学生在文本中寻找关键信息的能力。 听音、跟读练习，培养学生听说英语的能力。 通过看图填空，在文本再现中巩固所学知识。 学生自读文本，回答问题，训练学生阅读文本的能力。
Step4 Consolidation Activity 1 Look and say in groups. 小组合作完成文本复述，培养学生小组合作的能力和说英语的能力。
Step 5 Summary Activity 1 Read and act out. 通过表演文本，让所学知识达到熟练掌握，提高学生学习英语的兴趣和自信。
Step6 Homework 1.Read the text three times. 2.Use can/can’t to make sentences. (exercise paper ) 3.Act out in five. 通过课后练习，进一步巩固所学知识，训练学生听、读能力的同时，提高学生的笔头表达能力。
